Greetings to all as we enter this season of goodwill, peace and joy. I thought perhaps to update you all as to the progress being made both behind the scenes and on stage so to speak.
Many of you know it has been very difficult since Agustin left to find our way without a leader. Any successful room needs an active figure head to be approached and seen to be in control.....we have that now in Edfeil our new Queen and long may she continue to stand before us as the heart of Windstorm.
Many of us are also finding time is being more kindly to allow us to play and take a more active role within the room, myself included, and Edfeil as her little one grows and gives her more free time. This of course means the light grows within the room and shines for all to see, thus enabling casual or more in depth plays that can always be continued on the boards. This time of growth is exciting and we see a wonderful future for our home once again.
It was not until I made inquiries with the owners of the site that I realised the room had not actually been paid for and that bothered me greatly. It was not an issue for Chat Suites as they were pleased to see Windstorm active again, but Eva and myself decided to take over the payment and thus become co-owners of the room. Personally I feel much better knowing the business side of things is settled as it seemed rather rude to assume the room would stay with no input from us all. With this now in place we shall continue to grow, hopefully with new members and always the visitors and guests we have come to know and love. Windstorm is and always will be a room welcoming all and we hope to keep it that way.
The web pages are still being worked on and will emerge updated and more accessible so we can add new members and any relevant changes as they happen. We also feel this is an important part of the room as people can see we are actively involved and do care about the history and facts behind our home.
I hope this information will enable all who visit the boards to know Windstorm is far from a 'dead room' and will continue to flourish well into the future.
Long live Windstorm and Queen Edfeil!
