Gosh you are a busy bee Eva! nice to see you have settled there and obviously made many new friends *S* It feels very Springlike here today and I may even get to do a little gardening this afternoon. Changing beds is the morning chore *L* such an interesting life I lead hmmm *chuckles* still......it is a goodly one....mostly *S* I went to the cinema yesterday with both my Son's 'ladies', a girly afternoon! We met and had lunch together, then on to watch Young Victoria......views on the film thread for any interested *S* I admit I should get out more, that was my first outing in 10 days or so *L* and I enjoyed it muchly! My eldest seems to have settled into his new life, all be it a very hectic one, both he and his lady have so different work hours they hardly see one another, maybe a goodly thing because it makes for quality rather than quantity, who knows *S* but they do seem to be happy together. Mum on the other hand is finding it very hard to settle into anything *LOL* I must, I know......but it's like waiting for something......for him perhaps *S* but having to accept he isn't going to emerge from what was once his room for morning coffee and a chat.....all rather strange for me and my Husband, and of course our other Son, but it is still early days and Spring is coming, lots to do.....to see, to achieve and to simply enjoy! My....there is a waffle *LOL* Hope all are well, look forward to reading more of you all as time allows, and of course playing if I get the chance. Happy new weekend and stay safe all during Friday 13th!

Life still pretty busy. The end of my Birthright course yesterday and I will start volunteering once a week next month. Tonight we have another meeting with our Ladies group for our Fashion show in April. I will be a model for that one, and design the program as well as be involved in other matters. Aside from that, an old friend will be over to visit on wednesday, and then my husband has a meeting on saturday. Next week, my mother will be there, we will go to the zoo, the museum, etc. but I don't have any meetings anymore until the big one on saturday.

I have guests today, so I won't be in the room, but I will be back tomorrow. I am looking forward to this visit though. A friend I met online more than six years ago will come and stay the night with his father. He has just finished four years in the navy. And I am happy that it worked out to see eachother. Now I need a lot of tidying to do before he arrives. *chuckles* Is it actually possible to keep a house clean with a todler around?

I should like to be a mouse in the corner when you and Mathen get to reminiscing . . do enjoy the time with him!
It's been blessedly warm here for days now, and after a little scare with flooding on Sunday, have just absolutely enjoyed watching the snowbanks shrink. I tackled a job of painting the popcorn ceiling in my bathroom (I have now joined the ranks of thousands who curse the invention of such! lol) and it looks pristine once again.
Just wandering around in an afternoon off from work, with no real reason or any pressing task to accomplish . . just need to begin nibbling away at all the excess hours built up . . feels so weird.

Leaves and and a little sunshine to share! Gosh, if I had a voice I would be singing "Here Comes Summer!" The weather here is glorious but I know it won't last.....making the most of it, and having my Husband home for a few days, how lovely to have company. We are making plans for some little changes to the garden, easy maintenance for our older years *LOL* meaning now! Hope all are well and enjoy their days......I hope to be back more soon......been busy here with one thing or another lately. Thinking of you all with

My friend who told me this was worried about me. I am not trying to bring any down but she said so many go by and nae knew how much that person meant to them, and I am saying this to you all as I said to her...all here I do consider a friend and wish yuou well in everything you do in life. Just know you do have a friend in me and hold you all dear in my heart as well. ...~hugs for any that want one~......Guess my mood is a lil somber after hearing the news. I bid thee all a good day and have fun and be healthy.

Kevin.....so very sorry for your loss, and your friend is right of course. So often we hide our feelings or simply feel too embarrassed to share them I am sure. Thankyou so much for writing here and I know many of us will be touched by your words. You are such a kindly soul and well loved by us all. xxxx Wishing all a super weekend......we have a heavy frost this morning but with the promise of yet another glorious day that I hope to make the most of! How lifting is a little sunshine and a happy thought hmmmm *VBS* Oh and although none of you knew, my Son's cat has been missing a week but just before bedtime last night we had a call and quickly dressed in readiness for a cat rescue! such an adventure that ended well with him being home safe and sound again. How he managed to get to the other side of town and back to my Son's girlfriends previous flat I shall never know! All's well that ends well *VBS*

Ahh Kevin, I'll take one of those hugs, but have a hunch you need it more. Dream's right, you are such a dear soul. Be kind to yourself, and allow those somber times as you remember your friend.
*smiles at the 'Incredible Journey' back to Dream's son* Much maligned, those rascally felines, but they do leave an empty space when they leave us. So happy to hear a good ending to it all!

;D Vivienne.......perhaps he did but I know he would rather spend some more time hiding away in your rucksack! Indeed Letha, they did miss him, he is only a year old and recently was 'done' *L* in the hopes he would settle......once a Tom Cat perhaps always one *S* He is sweet though and I do hope he settles into his new home *S* Well it is Mothering Sunday here in the UK.......my Son is coming around for bacon sarnies before he goes to work *L* and I hope to spend the rest of the day indulging myself after a very busy day in the garden yesterday. Wishing all Mum's a wonderful day in all you do! for all xxxxx

Ahhh Dream *wraps you up in the biggest hug I can manage* Not a manly one, but perhaps it will help until you get another from your son? Congratulations to you, Grampa Rep! Spoil her good and proper I'm afraid I've had one ear glued to the Fargo, ND radio stations, and whatever other news source I can fanangle as the situation with the flooding simply grows more dire by the moment. They're less than 2 hours from us, and co-workers and friends have children living there, as well as many from our area volunteering in the sandbagging. The weather just won't cooperate, though, and even the rivers by us are edging higher every day as it keeps precipitating (snow, mostly the last few days) Pray for wisdom for those trying to decide whether to give up the fight and evacuate . . . Just surreal . .
