Well it is here in my little corner of the World......rather too hot *S* but then we have to have something to complain about us Brits! I do hope Eddie enjoys her time away, sounds like just the thing, a little quiet time with no distractions. I also hope our Kyle does not stay away too long......we really do have to set a date for that Knighthood young man! You take care and enjoy your little retreat too xxx Halethala........psssttt.......where are you? xxx Warm welcome back to Sofia who has been missed. I do hope the room continues to thrive with all the story lines there are at the moment. I shall try to find some time to venture in, even if I simply observe. I fear my muse is still on holiday *S* And Repsol my dear........don't stay away too long either, you take care and enjoy your days even though they seem rather too full! xxx On the personal front......I am feeling much better, my voice is 99% back to normal, whatever normal is *S* I find that it does seem to wear out by the end of the day if I talk too much *L* perhaps this is normal *S* Of course I am threatening to play my DVD of Mamma Mia that I received for Christmas and never watched because I could not sing along *L* Oh joy *chuckles* Still a great film and well worth watching for the 'feel good' factor *S* All in all life is good here, my veggies are thriving and I continue to improve health wise..........I wish you all the same contentment and happiness that I am currently enjoying. to all xxxx

Ohhh I think us Yanks could give you Brits a good run for your money complaint-wise ;D It's too dry here . . basically time to park the mower already, and spend an hour every morning watering the precious plants I am determined will NOT succumb to the drought. . . and I'm still radiating over getting to hear that beautiful British voice again, Dream! Take good care of it . .

June Already! Where has the year gone, I am not going to bore you guys with wheres and why's just bask in the glow you are all ok, (Oh and Rep is bracing himself as Dreamy now has her vocals back) What a glorious few days sun we have had here in lil britain for a moment I thought I was in Barbados so I threw on me sarong and flip flops me string vest and knotted handkerchief and put me deck chair up on the top floor of the multi storey car park. I attempted to cook at my first Barby of the year incinerated everything til my beloved wife rescued the remainder of the pig and chicken, I don't think I should have sprayed it with lighter fuel..but hey its a learning curve. Boy it is so good to be back posting again, I now look forward to catching up with all the guys, Oh and if your away don't forget the candy. Love to ALL from Me and Him

I was so sick of the cold I swear I wasn't gonna complain about the heat but there I went...lol...I begged my dad to gimme money for a air conitioner and he did! (though he HAS been at my palce i the heat of summer so knows how it gets) I'll have the sucker tomorrow whoot! It will be nice to sleep at night again.
But I would sweat with you any day Dream...lol...we'll just need two strapping lads in loin clothes to fan us wth palm leaves...
Yay Dream! Am so very very glad to hear the awesome news! yay yay
and omg! I SO miss Pandora! I used to listen to it ALL day at work. But with the Canadian laws they had to stop allowing us Canucks to listen in. I was so bummed. Am so jealous of you! I discovered a lot of new music and groups through that site.

Here I am again, Ladies and gentleman. Renewed and refreshed. I had a wonderful time. The abbey had the most beautiful grounds ever, and on monday, tuesday and wednesay the weather was absolutely glorious. I did get up at 5 am each day, because prayer of the lauds started at 5.30 am and breakfast ended (yes, ended) by 6.45 am). We ate the same as the monks, though in a separate dining room and eating happened in silence. In the morning there was bread, boiled eggs, peanut butter and jam, in the evening bread, peanut butter, jam, pickles and cheese and fruit. At noon there was a vegetarian entree and a desert. The food was simple but good. And it was wonderful to relax and just read, pray and take the time to talk quietly with my husband.
It's great to see you back with your voice intact. And Repsol, so good to see you posting again. It's just so wonderful to come back here and see you all!

It is june, and it is hot. It alternates between hot hot hot and thunderstorms. Somehow it seems as if we skipped spring and went straight into summer. I am now also the proud owner of a dining room table and sideboard. We decided to take it slow in furnishing our house and saved up then waited for a good deal on a dining room set. We placed the order a few weeks ago and now have a wonderful, mahagony looking dining table. It seats six in it's current setting and has an inlay leaf. We are planning on a two week vacation in Saint Louis starting the end of this month. With a little forray to Chicago for our aniversary.

Hot.. hot... hot. Still varying here between those storms and very hot. The good news is that the draught conditions in South Carolina have finally ended due to all the rain we've had this spring and early summer. Joseph was such a little cutie at mass today. With his little shirt and tie he looked just like his dada. The cold I had is still lingering, I believe because of the horrible Southern Tradition of making the temperature in buildings about 72 degrees Fahrenheit, when it is about 100 degrees outside. You actually need a wrap jacket to go into a restaurant or postoffice, because otherwise you feel very cold wearing summerclothes. All that in and out with a temperature drop of about 30 degrees each time, no wonder I get a cold!

I'm getting excited about going to Saint Louis for the fourth of july. Watching some fireworks and eating hotdogs. Seeing my wonderful mother who will come for a week, celebrating our wedding anniversary with an outing to Chicago... We will stay for two weeks in Saint Louis with a special outing of two days.
