Adara!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHDAHHHHHHHHHHRAHHHHHHHHH!
Hollered with joyful exuberance (or as close to it as ever he got), the Emperor hurried through the halls, looking for the Empress, or so one could assume.
Ahhhhdaaaaaaaaaaaaaraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh! where IS she?!
He found her, at last, in her little chalet, the small and snug cottage he'd built her, oh so many years ago. He rapped on the door and entered, a smile on his mouth, a baby in his arms and the baby, eating....plums. Purple and messy and sticky. It was doing un-fantastic things to his father's elven chain mail.
I found a suitor for Edie!
He announced, out of the blue....The baby threw a half mauled, gummed up plum at one of the sleeping cats here, and it hissed and ran for cover. Cats and cousins, equal beggars in Keiren's opinion, and all denizens of the small chalet. He patted his son's thigh in encouragement, for that arm was strong on the lad! He'd be one heck of a man at the joust lists, soon!
But focus.
Where was he?
What had he been on about?
Oh right!
Gage, Nyn's kid! He's tall, and has teeth, and everything.....we must draft a letter, informing the Queen of Windstorm of him. And his teeth!...and he has no pox scars, either! It's full of win, Adara!

She could hear him before she could see him. She reached a hand up to the picture frame on the wall, steadying it for the...
WHOOOSH! BOOM!
...the moment Keiren flew the door open and it slemmed up against the wall behind it.
"Good morning dear ones..." She thought of hugging... but being the current sticky purple shade of her son (quite reminiscent of the fashions coming out of Allura's seamstress shop), she thought better of it and gave instead a dainty wave.
"What is this you say? A suitor for the Queen of Windstorm? Full of win, you say?"
She thought about whether or not she had even *met* Nynaeve's elder son. Certainly she could not place his face in her mind. But well, if he had all his teeth and was mostly whole and un-cut-up-upon, perhaps he could be suitable. She knew well as any that a good man was terribly difficult to find. Indeed, Keiren had found *her*, and quite by chance and matter of good timing at that.
"Well... let us write Edfeil then, and tell her of this discovery you have made. Surely she will be pleased to hear it!"
From a side table she retrieved pen, ink, and paper. "Now... what did you say his name was? Cage? No, no... Gage, yes?"
To Her Royal Majesty, Venerable Queen Edfeil, Windstorm -

Precisely my thoughts! Darling, you read my mind like tis an open book!
He beamed at her as sticky, pudgy hands patted his armor, and the baby then grabbed the Emperor's hair. Keiren seemed to tolerate the attentions well enough, for he launched into a letter sort of mind set, letting Adara edit as she desired. Classically educated, she was an impeccable letter writer, NOTHING like the scrawl that the Duchess of Aeren cobbled together and called English.
Our dear lady of Windstorm, we write to you with news most joyful....
Thats a fine start, isn't it?
Hmmm....let me think...
How fares your health, and home? Something about that mayhap? And then...we have found a suitor for you, one blessed with all his teeth, and most of them aren't crooked. He comes from a grand line of breeders.....Heh, Nyn pops them out with ease!.....and he is rich.
There.
What else does a woman need? Rich. Can put out in bed, and she won't have to cut his meat for him. It's a winner!.......

"None could ever be of the same mind so much as you and I, dear. 'Tis why we are the perfect match. Everyone knows it."
She put a slender finger to her lips, tapping, thinking.
"Yes... I rather like that beginning...." She wrote it out, gently pushing the quill across the page.
...news most joyful.
"And then.... We kindly inquire of you and yours. Your health, your lands - we trust that all is well as should be for no missive has come contrary. 'Tis the heart now, you look after? Mine dearest husband, who stands here as I write, tells me you have come round to seeking a husband. Well acquainted as my Lord is with the people or our kingdom....
"See, she very much likes the fashion of reverting all to the King. Any such man she chooses is certain to be placed at once above her. Of course, You are quite worthy of such attentions from me, husband, but that is why I word it thusly to Edie.
"Now then, where were we? Oh yes... "...he has found a very suitable match." Is he but knighted? Or a young Duke? Bother... I can scarcely keep up with Nynaeve's children. Why must they all have so many?"

I think she has so many because she is rather......
........He paused.................loving in nature.......That's it. As for young Gage, he is a knight, knighted on Aeren, in fact, and serving there, as a sort of apprenticeship, his mother thought time away from Greenleaf might benefit the boy.
He was assigned charge over your own sister in fact, but of late.
What is her name?
He snapped his fingers and frowned...trying to recall. He could see her face, freckles, curly hair, annoyed look......
You know the one that doesn't like men, the skirt lover....or maybe the no-lover? I can't keep track. Tanya maybe stole her share of libido. It could happen....what IS her name?
Rhiannon! That's it! Rhiannon....Gage watches over her, as is needed.
They could title the lad....something. Hell, they could call him the Grand Poobah of Nahnahville if they were so INCLINED. He wasn't....at least not yet..........

"I do not know so well how important it is that Edfeil wed a titled sort of person. Or how highly one ought to be titled. Is she looking for a King or a consort, do you think? In any case... SIR Gage should be fitting. If he is not quite elevated to her liking, well, we shall just see..."
So then, the letter.
"Sir Gage of Greenleaf, son of Duchess Nynaeve, serves currently in Aeren as personal bodyguard to my very own sister."
"That sounds rather lifted, does it not? Certainly we must think highly of him for such an appointment."
An appointment Adara had not even known about until now, but well, small detail!
"Sir Gage would certainly be worth a meeting for he sports many fine attributes in a man besides his knighthood. He has fine teeth, stands quite tall, and has nary a hunch of the back as some tall men tend to have."
"How is that then? Oh! And..... "
"If interest compels thee, please, do reply by letter or surprise us with a visit. Certainly you shall have many interested parties and if you cannot away to Enchantica, we shall send Sir Gage to thee for inspection."
"You are quite the letter-writer, husband. Very astute."

I think it is a wonderful letter, my lady.....and yes, quite elevated is he, to be managing...er......assisting....Rhiannon.
Adara had her other sister, Desdemona, married off to a base born Prince's son, so perhaps they could be slightly more picky than they were, details, details....but Des was tricky business, and they were lucky she'd been wed at all! She'd fought it long enough.
So much work, sisters were, but with tea time coming up close, and a picnic on their barge this afternoon, who had the time to fiddle faddle with the likes of all her sisters? He only had the one sister, and had promptly set her tush on a foreign throne, clapped a crown on her head, and it was the best thing he'd done so far.
Marry them off, get them out of your hair.
That is what one did with sisters!
I say let us send it, and Edie can meet young Gage for herself.
As for Rhiannon, once her protector is off and gone playing at courting...we ought get her someone to wed, don't you think? Solinar and Fred both are single.....
Perhaps one of those two?..........Why do you twitch at the names, wife?..........
The letter was signed and sealed and sent via messenger to Windstorm, to be given to Edfeil, or her trusted attendants and advisors........

*The letter had arrived late at night. A messenger from Enchantica. She had expected a courtesy missive. Mayhap a note on how the heir to the throne was doing. Mayhap arrangements for a visit, or reassurance that all was safe and well. Yet she halted swiftly after breaking the seal. For a moment she just stared at the words, letting the ink dance in random patterns before she willed her brain to form it back to letters. Teeth.. Aye.. she had read that right. Teeth. Teeth were important of course. She.. liked it when a man had his own teeth. Appearances should nae matter of course but.. she reread the letter. Breeders. Oh my Good Lord in heaven... *and with a blush she lowered the letters*

((Poetic license to be in many places at once *S* just could not let this thread pass by.))
*Mollie had begun in her normal fashion, out of breath, hastily spoken words and gestures that did not make any sense at all. Dream held up her hand to stop the lass in full flow simply to allow her to breath and begin again.
"Tis tha Queen.......she be readin'.......an' then she did stop......she nae looks so well M'Lady Dream.......ah did nae know what ta do."
Dream nodded, trying to stay calm and yet her heart was racing almost as fast as Mollie's had been.......a missive.....Edfeil looking unwell....such could only mean one thing......news of some nature that did not bode well.
"Aye lass.........thankye, ye did the right thing......I shall go to her."
Turning on her heal, Dream set to......lifting her skirts, she almost ran from the kitchens to find the Queen. She stopped for a moment simply to gain composure....whatever was wrong, it was best to know.........then deal with it.......her heart was aching....what if.......who would......what could.......
She took her place quietly beside her Queen, a slight curtsy in respect, all the while her eyes searching for news of whatever was wrong. Her voice was calm, her throat dry......
"M'Lady........" Was all she said.

*She looked.. bewildered. Certainly she had expected people to help her look. Certainly she wanted the help. Yet somehow she had expected the procedures to run a wee bit more along.. diplomatic lines. An introduction mayhap, at a gathering. Discretely made, with a whisper about credentials and lineage. Perhaps a visit arranged. But this...
*She looked up at hearing the voice of her friend next to her, tried to find a declarative sentence to explain.* Ah.. ye remember that I be seeking, actively seeking that is.. for a husband. Ah.. I asked me friends to keep their eyes open for a suitable match, aye? Today I received... this. 't be a missive from Emperor Keiren and Empress Adara.
*With nae more words to explain the content of the missive, she handed it over to ye.*

*Dream listened to her Queen describing her intentions to find a worthy Husband, taking the letter and nodding in acknowledgment of her plight. She felt so sorry that it had come to this, and still wondered if Edfeil could not simply fall in love.......as Dream had done so, many years before. Edfeil, after all was quite a beautiful woman, and with her assets also, there should be suitors a plenty knocking at their doors. Still, it was their Queen's intent, and stubborn as she was, her subjects would have to agree to this Husband seeking plot and hopefully a decent man would be among those found.
She put her personal thoughts on the matter aside and concentrated on the parchment in her grasp, almost laughing aloud, catching herself before allowing such a sound to escape. No.....no, this was a serious mission, and one that had to be dealt with in a serious manner......oh my......how could she stop from laughing!
Digesting the description, she somehow found another word to focus upon, except teeth just kept returning......this was not to be easy.
*Magesty......my friend.......indeed.......I do understand.......but Lord Keiran and his dear Wife do have yer best interests at heart." Dream spoke quietly, forming each word with care lest she would add to the Queen's confusion. Try as she may, the rest of her sentence slipped out with no warning and her cheeks flushed as she realised her thoughts had indeed become loud words.*
"Teeth be a goodly asset of course.......all the better to eat cooks toughest of meats M'Lady.......and breeding......well........!"

*She pursed her lips. her own cheeks heated, her eyes a mixture of raw panic and hilarity that threathened to bubble up.*
A very goodly asset. A man with his own teeth be more likely to be.. handsome. *she said it with a straight face. it was a serious topic, by God. It deserved her full attention. Her straight reasoning She tried again.* Nae that being handsome be all that mattered. But it.. nae be a negative mark against any to be sure. It... a handsome prince.. can strike an imposing.. *she nearly choked on the word figure, and tried to camouflage such by going on rapidly* And ah of course I want an heir. Many heirs. THat is.. children. *for one, brief moment her vocie softened, tenderness peeked through, in one of her deepest wishes, yet.. the word teeth kept popping up in her midn as well and she saw naught but smiling faces with teeth. Lots and lots of teeth. Some straight, some dazzling, some half crooked.*

*Dream stayed standing behind her Queen, simply to hide her face lest a smile would show, a smile, a grimace, even a frown as she tried her best to stay in a serious stance. Of course this was serious for whom ever the Queen did choose, would indeed become ruler with her and he had to be a goodly chap, handsome would be kind to those that looked upon him, and teeth......those teeth would always attract a glance, even a stare.
Dream cleared her throat to enable some more serious words to flow, it was difficult but she spoke gently, placing one hand upon your shoulder in a show of both understanding and support for this awkward moment.*
"Aye, he shall in deed be most handsome with........with decent teeth.....I am most certain of such, and he must be a kindly man iffn he has good breeding." *Nodding to affirm her thoughts, to herself mostly.*
"Let ye nae be too eager Magesty.......I mean, when ye do meet him, and those who shall visit to meet ye in turn. Mayhaps Lord Keiren shall arrange a meeting when time allows, and meanwhile.......aye.......meanwhile mayhaps some gentle man may simply stumble upon us and steal yer heart away."
