ah, both be noble ideas indeed. *Sadhbh smiled and took another sip of her tea. She mused what differences would there be in the shops of Windstorm. Indeed, Lady Elizabeth would tell her rather quickly, she had an eye for things and could note a worthy price or nae. Oft Sadhbh had heard that her skills of bartering was such that, that the merchants would frown when she approached. She lowered her eyes and chuckled inwardly at that little secret. Looking up, smiling to all she mused* ah, it matters nae where we go, tae pleasure of thy company be what be important... *Sadhbh turned to Dream, she wondered at her words of a chill, surely these Ladys were sturdy enough. Yet.. She looked to the Lady Edfeil and nodded* aye...a chill would nae be so pleasing tae ye...nae at all

*Her brow furrowed as she looked from one to the other in wonder. The wind was cold indeed, but with the sun shining, and warm wrappers 't should nae be a problem. Nae before had she known Lady Dream to hesitate for a ride to the beach, even in the midst of winter. Lady Sadhbh's concern however made her doubt. The tonic indeed had done wonders for her, but iffen the Lady of Kent nae thought 't wise for her to venture out in the winds, she would accept such.*
Aye... of course... the orchards would do very well. A picnic there might be lovely too. And then perhaps an excursion to the beach on some later date, aye? When the winds have lessened and the sun warmed the water. Ye still should teach me how to swim! I'm nae allowed to sail without a crew otherwise... Ye all can swim? *She asked to the others, wondering iffen she were the only one who had nae learned as a child.*

Ach, Lady Edfeil! The promise to teach thee the art of swimming still hae nae been fulfilled?! . . although it hae been to cold until now to do so . . 'Twas late fall when ye mentioned it, when I arrived, at least, too late for swimming . . The hot springs just would nae be the fitting place to try such a venture, ye need an ocean, lake, or e'en a stream deep enough, I wager . .
Oh, or the moat . . Y'know, I hear some women find the best way to teach their bairns be to simply toss them into the water . . the strong will to survive be an awesome teacher, the strokes come naturally . . .
*She then broke into a wide grin at the look that came over the Princess, and blushed a little* Perhaps not a wise method with ye, my dear . . we cannae be riskin' the King's daughter to the vagaries of the sea . .
*Catching the Lady Dream's meaning, she had hoped to bring a smile to their faces . . there would perhaps be nae much occasion for smiling all too soon if the impending danger were realized . . . *

*Sadhbh colored and shook her head at the question* nae, I cannae swim. Tis a fear I doth bear tae prevents me. As a child I almost drowned, tae fear tae this day grips me...
*She held a wondering look as she swallowed at the thoughts of swimming. Sadhbh shuddered softly then lowered her eyes.
It was only then that she began to rise.... however her words were harboured by the sudden appearance of Lord Abiyownah. Concern grew upon her face at his words.*
I will search tae orchards
*She whispered*
And ask my brother iffn he could lend thee a hand.
*A frown appeared as she curtsied softly*
forgive me yea I must depart thy congenial company. Fare thee well...
*and with a smooth dip of her head she turned and walked away*
(*SS* sorry all, work calls so my presence here would be a ghostly one *L*. Take care and thank you for inviting me to partake. I will be back in two weeks)

*She pondered the idea for a while......having listened intently to the ladies words... her smile was warm and sincere...their company such a delight. Indeed.....mayhaps they could ....they would be quite safe with guards and Rangers discreetly placed. It was then , when she had seen the plan within her mind that she spoke.*
"Ahhh ...the lake.....aye....the small one just beyond the Castle walls.....we could picnic and show Lady Edfeil to swim mayhaps."
*Nodding to herself as she started to clear up the empty cups....if the weather was nice... it would be a splendid venue...the trees to the north for shelter...the walls to the west....and the little stream would be safe for Ellissia. Her mind was travelling quickly now as she anticipated the wonderful time that all could enjoy.
Lord Abiyonah's words were a suprise, but she smiled to him and reassured him then that she was sure the Lady healer was simply busy with her chores.*

*She smiled at the idea, aiding her friend by stacking the wee plates they had used for the pastries.*
Oh aye, 't would be splendid indeed. The water be warm enough.. there only be one problem... *she adds, and the blush 'pon her cheeks indeed seems like the colour of summer roses* How will we dispense of the guards? I mean... I can nae go swimming with the guards near, aye?
*she thinks a while, pondering the problem, for naught in the world would move her to stand before a man's eyes in naught but her shift, and she had already heard severaly times 't would nae be possible to swim with the layers she usually wore.*
Mayhap... we could ask me father, iffen he would lend me his bodyguard during swimming practice? Surely Captain Hawkmoon could have no objection to that? Whom of his guards would be as good as his own daughter, who be guarding me own father? Aye... 't would be a sound plan, ye nae think?

*She had chuckled and nodded her approval then..... the plates stacked and placed upon a tray for millie.*
"Oh indeed.... Siya would of course be the most perfect choice......but....remember....the Guards shall nae be watching us M'Lady...their eye be set to the surroundings......fer we shall nae cause them strife."
*Smiling more.....she understood completely of the ladies need for privacy...but took such delight in teasing her. She grinned at Halethala as she added more empty cups to the tray.*

Her eyes brightened at the mention of the little lake so nearby. "How on earth hae I missed that before! And stream-fed as well? It sounds just the perfect place for picnicking and relaxin' . . and swimming lessons! Havin' good Siya with would be a great comfort as well . . I'm sure all would agree to allow' 'er . .
Hmmmm . . but maybe it would help a bit iffen we designed some sort of special gown for ye to swim in, Princess? 'Course, it's most easy to swim in yer birthday suit . . when ye be certain no one else be about . . but bein' who ye be, and the proximity to the castle and all, that won't do.
She then looked to Dream with a twinkle. "We could fix up something fer her, could we not? Some nice dark lavendar fabric, not so see-through-y as her shift, and won't cling to thee quite so . . alluringly. 'Twouldn't matter who guarded her then . .
Oh, I DO hope we can make a nice day of it! More fun than shopping, even . . iffen that be possible!
