Welcome all the "Windstormian Friends"......... as I said, great idea, not sure how it will work, but at least we could all talk about the film here if we cannot gather together in the room *S* All we need now is a film to watch and debate

...WooooooooooHooooooooooooooo...thanks for including some Eehneiders...~gets the popcorn ready, the DVD player, cranks up the surround sound, snuggles up with Lord Daniel (totally OOC), and awaits the announcement of the first movie~ Would be kewl if we could all meet in the room and discuss them...maybe one weekend day a month for a couple of hours or so...we all are in such different time zones, but it would be kewl if we could figure something out...but if not, the board works too...we are game for whatever...just sounds like a GREAT idea...

Amyra...... is this toffee popcorn? I am sure we can arrange something to suit us all.... but as Alita is away now for a few weeks...... perhaps another might suggest a film to start us off with? I admit I don't watch many new ones, but I did see Arthur and The Treasure Hunter at the cinema. I tend to wait and watch them comfortably at home on DVD or Video. I am happy to obtain a film anybody wants to put forward........and wait to see the response

Wonders what happened to the movie idea...I'm ready for a good movie and popcorn...'toffee, plain, cheese' whatever, just sounded like it could be a load of fun...and in a world full of so much strife, a bit of fun is just what we all could use...

ohhh the pressure ....I can't take it ..........ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! ;D
*looks at the suggestion Agustin made* somewhere I remember someone telling me a name of a blue movie ... and I think that was the name ....if so ...shame on you *wags finger at you*
As for HitchHicker's Guide *wide grin* loved the books growing up (in fact recomended Douglas Adam's to Captin Hawkmoon last month *LOL*)
And Dream ...what to be the first movie ... ? It depends how we want to do this ... the original concept was medieval movies.... do we want that or modern ones also?
I would suggest the way to do this is people elect a movie .... and we make a list .. and then work through it ...maybe take a vote on it ? If that is too complicated I will try and come up with a different plan .. but I do need a decision on just medievel or any movie first

I would think just any movie... And within our favorites there would probably be a 'natural' emphasis on medieval movies;

Shall go with the flow I am not a 'true' cinema person... but I like films.....especially a good thriller, historical.....love story.......murder, scarey......love story.......edge of the seat type.......did I say love story. Seriously...... name a film....we can all find somehow....and contribute to the views...... perhaps begin a new thread for our little group and any who would be comfortable joining in.

I am rushing about getting ready to head to work so this is a quick post. I saw a movie on the plane at the end of March that I really enjoyed and nominate for the first movie. It is not Medievle but it is a period piece that was very well done. To me it combined the mix of drama, love story and imagination that would be a good movie for us all to share. (I thought of suggesting Lord of the Rings Trilogy but think most of us have seen it). Here is a review for Finding Neverland. www.imdb.com/title/tt0308644/*hugs you all big and runs*

I am going to throw my hat into the ring, and suggest a movie in a different theme then what has been suggested. This is for all the classic horror buffs out there. There is a remake of the classic Amityville Horror. The most interesting aspect of this movie, and the old, is that they both follow along the true story that happen. I am very interested to see just how they have improved on recreating the " incidents" that happened to that family.

Oooohhhhhh! Definately will seek out Neverland........was hoping to see it anyway. Many thanks Alita The original Amityville was a scareeeeeee movie! Oh that house.....those windows...those eyes...... hmmmm I can see it now.... *shudders* Will most definately see the new one *LOL* Thanks oh Kingly one I watched 'Unforgotten' last night...... a good 'watch' a little different, and yet at times predictable. Made me think too *S*.... would recommend it.......along with The Incredibles for a laugh or two.
