Few things in life define the human spirit as sharply and poignantly as a life-threatening illness.
Some people grasp the diagnosis of a serious illness with a passion and tenacity to thrive and survive that is quite astounding, becoming such an inspiration to others and a beacon of hope to many.
Sir J. is just this kind of man.
His remarkable sense of humor, even in the face of adversity, and his honesty and generosity of spirit is heart-warming and extremely moving and I am glad to know him and call him my friend.
Sir J. please know that we are all pulling for you and you remain in my thoughts and prayers.

That is what has happened with Joe...
He has been a wonderful friend to me and I never forget to pray for him and his family .... daily..... please let him know....

To all that know Sir J.....He is still in hospital...I have just returned to our home for the night to take care of what needs to be taken care of here and shall be returning to PA to be with him. He is ... quite ill...his heart today has sent him to CICU...where he is being watched closely...I spoke to them there just a moment ago and he is finally sleeping after a very long hard day today. I shall tell him that you all are keeping him in your prayers, knowing that this gives him a sense of comfort..I also thank you for keeping him in your thoughts...indeed he is a very special man and he is fighting a long battle with his very being. Please know he has rarely lost his ability to make others smile even when he is feeling badly...such a gift...
I shall as I can keep in touch, one way or the other to let you know of your friend....Sir J.

Reads the boards and feels a little low. Whilst there is happy news (such as Eddie’s approaching wedding; many congrats sweetie), there is also heartening news such as Dream’s rt hubby sounding like he is on the mend (please say hello for me Dream and gives you a warm cuddle), there is also worrying news.
Chei, please give Thantos my best. You are both on my thoughts and prayers and I hope he makes a speedy recovery.
Friday, big hug for you; I wish there was something I could say or do to help…. You just tell him remember he promised me that he would let me drive the corvet...hopefully that will make him smile.
I wish I could write something more meaningful, just know you are all on my thoughts and that I wish you all happy and healthy times surrounded by people that love you.

Friday, I can but echo Dream's sentiments - thank you so much for keeping us updated and also for relating our wishes and prayers to Joseph. He's one of the few people who have become really really special to me! I keep him in my prayers, may the good Lord always be with him (and you), no matter what!
