Words are hard to come by when it comes down to this man, this mate, this brother.
Sir J or Jofes as I would call him was one of the first people I met online in r/p. We had some fun times together, such will never be forgotten.
I also got to know Sir J well OOC as well. God bless that man and his extrodiany love of fishing and boats!
All my love to him, Friday, his family and friends at this time.
His memories will be most fondly remembered by each and everyone of us that shared time with him. xxx

Dearest Friday (envelopes you in the warmest long distance hug) I have no words to comfort your loss. I did not have the pleasure of chatting to Sir J for long, but he left a strong impression (as did my brief meeting with you). I wish I was closer to help beyond simple words. I wish I could post an inspirational poem that might ease your pain. But most of all I wish I could bring him back for you.
He is remembered with fondness by all. I will keep you in my prayers. Please do keep in touch when you can. . . . . .
No words here, just wish I could hug you very tight.
My deepest heartfelt sympathy to all who knew him and feels the void of his passing onto the next life.

ok... this is Alias/Maxine/Jayme (Curt's r/t) borrowing this for a moment... ~grins~ Friday... I want to send my heartfelt condolances to all around him r/t and to everyone who knew him online.... was a FINE man and a good roleplayer.... I will miss him greatly.... so will Ali for that matter..... and... with that being said.... Mollie Anne, a good friend of mine and Curt's from Kielder, who also knew Joe.... posted this to KH's board ~is at a loss of words for the most part~ I didnt really now Joseph that well but from what I've seen and what I do know he WAS a great man and roleplayer... He will truely be missed by all that knew him and know of him I'm sure.... It isnt fair that he was taken away from everyone that loved him.. I wished I had a r/t pic of him would have had his pic there instead of his characters pic. but the meaning is still there.

I'm sure Joseph wouldn't have minded if I shared this picture of him with you. It shows him where he loved to be - on the beach, having just come back from some great fishing trip (or maybe awaiting another one going out to sea), happy with life. This was taken in 2004. He kept sharing tales about his fishing trips, and articles he wrote for a fishing magazine with me online. These stories, and his articles, were so bubbly and joyous full with life. He told me on a few occasions that he wanted to retired down in the south, by his beloeved sea and fish. Let us remember him as the happy fisherman he was on this picture, and all the good times we've had with him. I will mourn him for a very long time!

I feel quite inadequate to the task of writing about the man behind the character of Sir Joseph. One would need three volumes and then some to describe his gift of humor and love of family, both r/t and online. His infectious laughter and ready smile, quick wit and mischievous antics, that he so loved to spring on unsuspecting fellow role-players, were so much a part of the man we all grew to know and love.
He was an inspirational role-player, superbly sharp, intellectually challenging and always fun to be around. He was a real hero in my eyes, bringing the joy of playing to so many, and happiness to so many hearts that there must be a special place in heaven for such a beautiful person.
He captivated all with his talent and personality and his loss causes me great sadness. He will be missed and always remembered by those that knew and loved him.
I hope that his family may find some small comfort that so many are thinking about them and so many prayers are being sent their way.

Passes on many prayers from both Daniel and I to Joes family and friends for what they are currently enduring.. indeed people touch our lives in so many different ways.. may the good Lord now enjoy Joes company and fishing tales, as it seems so many have.

Dear Friday,
I speak for those of Caernarfon, when I say; Joseph had our respect and friendship. His kindness and quick wit shall be missed by our home. I recall the first time I met him. He quoted from memory the knight’s oath. He stepped out of character and said it meant a great deal to him. I never had the opportunity to meet him in person, but always felt he lived by that honorable code in life.
Thank you for sharing him with us. His life touched us deeply.
You are in our prayers.
Respectfully, Caera’s player
