Sometimes in life we seem to slow our pace And in our hearts we're left with an empty space We only think of the loneliness and pain Then someone says there’s no need to explain
They do not have to be your very best friend But maybe you'll find, on them you may depend Even if you don't say what you’re thinking inside Just talking is better than trying to hide
When found you, or you I, it put a smile on my face And let me tell you, you filled many an empty space So to Dream.. I want you to know the small things really do count
When I talk to you I feel everything's okay To you I owe a debt I could never repay So when you forget about the lives you touch Think of me, for it is you I owe so much
Thanks, for the small things that you have done to make my days
I remember a day a few years ago that a lovely woman walked into a room where I sat and her timing was impeccable.. no need to mention the details only that I have, since that day been greatful for Karma and for you my friend. I love ya sweetness...... Nicole

*Sister Susan steps into the recreation room of the Iona Home for Retired Monks and whispers at length into the ear of a scruffy, bald and bearded old man engaged in attempting to weave a basket from willow withies... He looks up and nods, grateful for an excuse to leave his failed project. He stands, arthritic joints creaking and popping and hobbles towards the scriptorium. Seating himself at a desk he pulls out a fresh sheet of vellum and picks up a quill...*
My Darling Daughter, I have just been told that you have achieved the previously unheard of honour of being the author of 1,000 posts. I confess to being stunned. If I said that only a woman of your calibre could attain such an impressive record I would fear that I would be misinterpreted as suggesting that you are prone to talk a lot... so I won't say that. I will say however that you always did show a rare talent with a quill. I remember well reading some of your first posts on the old board and feeling a great pride in being the father of such a brilliant writer. It was obvious that you had inherited some of the family genes. I must confess that as time progressed and your posts proliferated that I began to fear that the child would surpass the father in her skill and depth. Before I took my well earned retirement I had to concede that this was indeed so. The authors crown was yours by right and by talent.
Congratulations my dear child. You have excelled yourself and give an old man cause for great pride.
I pray for you daily and entreat the good Lord to protect and keep you as close in the light of His love as you are in mine.
I leave you with this blessing:
May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face. May the rains fall soft upon the fields. May the light of friendship guide your paths. May the simple joy of living trip a smile from your lips, And a twinkle from your eye. When eternity beckons, at the end of a life heaped high with love, May the good Lord embrace you With the arms that have nurtured you the whole length of your joy-filled days. Until we meet again May the gracious God hold you in the hollow of His hands. And, may the Spirit of Love find a dwelling place in your heart.
Amen
Daddy. *The old man scatters sand on the vellum to absorb the excess ink, then, after folding and sealing it, he hands it to a waiting messenger...* "Hie thee to Winstorm Castle as fast as they horse will bear thee and place this missive in the hands of the Lady Dream Loxley." *Standing again, he wanders slowly back to his task.. smiling to himself as her recalls good days long ago.........*

Dear and beloved sister and friend , I am very proud to have shared this thousendfold of posts with you . You have been an inspiration to me (and for all, probably) - one of the most precious moments for me, personally, was when we created Perran together. Our boy has found his way in rp and the castle ...thanks for a great part to your brilliant writing. Also no fancy ava for you (great work, folks ), since you know I can't make them, but here's your favorite...this sonnet has always reminded me of you . Be well and blessed, dear Dream/Les , may the stars shine upon your path and may you bless us with a thousand more . Lots of fond hugs and smoochies on your cheeks Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? Thou art more lovely and more temperate. Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May And summer's lease hath too short a date
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines And often is his gold complexion dimmed; And every fair from fair sometime declines, By chance , or nature's changing course, untrimmed
But thy eternal summer shall nae fade Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st, Nor shall Death brag thou wand'rest in his shade, When in eternal lines to time thou growest.
So long as men can breath or eyes can see, So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

Adds my congratulations as well
You, my dear, are an inspiration to us all. I have often spoken to Agustin about the caliber of talent he has present here in at Windstorm, and your name has always been at the top of my list.
I look forward to reading your posts and your presence in the room, for both bring so much pleasure.
Congratulations on reaching a milestone ......1000 posts...and counting.

Dear, Dear Dream....
This missive is late, but no less heartfelt.
For so long, you've been such a constant, warm friend... While our time zones are far away, I'm always blessed when we have time to visit...
*reading all the posts to you* This tribute is truly warranted....

How does one pay tribute to a Catcher of Dreams, I find myself speachless trying to describe this it seems. The words of a friend who does so much over time, how do you reward one that gives joy so sublime. I thought of words of praise and words of emotion, but nothing could compare with your given devotion.
So instead, all I can offer is this, may the next 1000 give all as much bliss.
