I remember well those last couple of weeks of pregnancy and how impatient I was...
Get sleep now, it will be a long time before you have the chance to sleep through the night again.

You could try cod liver oil...........or...........*whispers* sex!Seriously........ I know it is a waiting game.......and to have your dear Mum with you must be so very nice. I am sure she is worried for you but hopes you may take comfort from her presence. I would simply say...... take each day as it is given, Mother Nature is an incredible thing and baby will come when he or she is ready. Getting anxious will only get baby anxious also. for you all.

Wow no news as yet....mmm do you have metal dustbins where you are, what your hubby needs to do is get two dustbin lids wait until you are sat nice and quiet then sneak up behind you and BASH them together, (Not to be attempted if the Frightenee is holding hot liquids...Health and safety tip of the day).. I was talking to our new addition the other day in the supermarket..looked a bit silly talking to my daughters belly but hey, she isn't going to arrive on time either so your not on your own and don't feel as though you are letting people down this is a special time for you and your family. You take care and rest while you can, and don't worry about the auction I will see if they have any new Donkeys, cos your other is about ready.. to you A/all over there Rep and the Ferret

Exactly! They call because they desperately don't want to miss this wonderful event! And because they CARE . . . *ruffles your head fondly*
Oh . . and a sure-fire way to get the little guy out of hiding is . . snowmobiling across a rough-plowed frozen field!! *nodnod* (Gotta love us tough old Norse! Yes, I actually tried this at home!)
I still think Dream's idea is the best . . or the most fun, at least!! ;D

*chuckles with all the interesting advice*.. Actually, in all the years I worked OB/GYN, the thing that worked the best is exactly what Dream suggested.. along with a nice glass of wine to relax.. I won't go into the scientific reasons as to why wine and sex tend to work more than anything, as that takes the fun out it and we certainly don't want to do that.. *winks*.. but do enjoy that glass of wine and a nice tango in the sheets, so to speak, and your little Prince will be here before you know it..

No baby yet, but thursday at the latest. I am really sorry for not being around. I feel like I'm leaving everyone in the lurch, but I simply can't sit at the computer any more for an extended period of time without my back screaming murder and my abdomen cramping like crazy. I still hope to make it to the memorial auction!! The royal husband will probably post here when I go into labour and when the little prince has arrived.
