For as long as I can remember I have had an interest in collecting stamps. My main themes being Australian States (Pre-Federation) and Australian Pre-Decimal. Like many Collectors, I habitually keep the stamps off any letters that we get and, over the years, I have accumulated a fair number but I didn't realise how many until a recent clean up. I am just wondering if there are any other Philalelists out there who would like some Australian stamps for their collections. These are mainly decimal currency, though some go back a few years, and still need to be soaked off the backing paper. The postmarks are quite clear on some as well. If anyone is interested, or knows some-one else who might be, please get in touch with me through the WS message system. T. PS - They'd be great for young collectors who are just starting in the hobby.

What a splendid idea......... like a 'swap shop' *S*. I have to admit to owning a stamp collection, although I have put it all safely away for any future possible Grandchildren as time passes It does include many stamps from all over the World, mainly because Mum was lucky enough to work where they received lots of post from overseas! The main album of older stamps was a gift from an Aunty long ago and I do often wonder if any are rare or valuable, I know many are very beautiful and that's why I collected them *S* That was the appeal at the time *L* and the special frank marking when a first edition was released here in the UK. Perhaps I shall rediscover it all one day.......thankyou for allowing me to remember it again T *S*
