Howdy folks.
Just wanted to send you all a note while I was actually able to sit up and type for longer then ten mins.
On Dec 9th, while at work, I, one of my co workers and a police officer were struck down and run over by a drunk driver while at the scene of an accident on the major freeway here. Rest assured I am fine, a few bruises, lots of sore bones, couple broken ones. My coworker is not so lucky. He is in ICU, broken neck, shattered face bones, serious head injuries and a broken leg. The officer was thrown clear and just has a few sore spots.
*hears the phones dialing already*... relax my friends, I am okay, just really sore and really pissed off at the dumb SOB that ran into four emergency vehicles with all lights going. Sooooo.. I will probably be back sooner then I expected cause.. hell, I got a few more days of rest coming to me..and I am BOOOOOOOORED out of my mind with physio...
Love you all, miss you lots and lots
your friend,
Carl

Oh, I am so sorry! What a scary, horrible thing to happen! I'm so happy to hear your injuries aren't worse... but sad for your co-worker...
Wishing both of you healing that is swift and complete... in body, mind and spirit... (and what better way to spend recuperating than at your Vacation home!)
Take care, Eiluna/Jennifer

Take great care of yourself.........one day at a time.......one thought and precious moment at a time. Rest your mind and body so you may look forward to the New Year with renewed strength and health.
I am so sorry for all those involved in the accident.......whilst trucks, cars, lorries and such, can all be replaced or mended........some people never have that chance, we are all so vunerable when it comes to road crashes.
Do take care oh Kingly one...........get well soon. *kiss

* sighs*
I have to say things have just not faired well for most of us at Windstorm, and now you too.
I pray you continue to rest, to heal and regain your losses. Know I have missed you and wish you always the best.
As for accidents, yes my friends, yes, one never knows when next it might happen to you. So, yes Dream I must agree with your words, they relect a great deal about you, and that is a beautiful.
Get well oh Kingly one! Sincerely, Stina
