Yes, indeed!!! Well, not really the princess, but me. My husband and I have been blessed with a baby. Of course we will still need to wait a bit longer to be able to hold him or her, especially since I am only one month or even less into my pregnancy, but both of us are extremely, extremely happy. Being 31 we had expected we needed to try a bit longer. ;D I still can't believe I am going to be a mommy. How wonderful, and terrifying.
I had planned on keeping this secret just a bit longer, but two things got in the way: one... I just want to share this joy with everyone. Two... this 'blessed condition' is at the moment making me very, very weak and sick. *L* As many wonderful mothers have told me, it's just a few months. I just have to beg your indulgence a bit if I am not as prompt with my responsabilities here as I wish to be. Please keep me in your prayers and send all your positive thoughts my way?
*love

Thank you all. My OBGYN appointment was a joke. Basically we filled out forms for my medical history for an hour, they drew blood and I got urinate in a cup. And that was it. We didn't even get to SEE a doctor. That needs to wait till our NEXT appointment, which is on february twelfth. We explained that we already had a pregnancy test that was done by DoctorsCare, and that they had said we were only one to two weeks along, but they insist on keeping the prospective birth date on september 7th based on my period, which I told them had been irregular due to traveling and illness etc. I feel I wasted a lot of time for nothing. What IS it here with getting to see a doctor??? Why do you need to go through six receptionists, fifteen forms and twelve nurses before you get to see a doctor? I want to go back to Belgium where I call at 8 am, get my doctor on the phone and see him at 6 pm without seeing one other person.

I wish this was an update with some better news. Only the ones here about who know me the longest will remember a very old 'enemy' of mine. Aparently it has returned with this pregnancy and makes the simple act of breathing a difficulty. As you can imagine, I'm very worried about the baby. I spend my days mostly resting. I do hope to be back next week after my next doctors visit. She seemed to take what I had seriously enough the last time, unfortunately, the medication isn't doing what it should. I miss you all very, very much. Please send a thought my way?

Oh, dear Edie...
I don't know what the enemy is... but do know how stressful it is when anything threatens the precious being growing inside you... in whatever way. (I had to deal with a few trials with my pregnancy, ending with three weeks in the hospital before she was born 5 weeks early...) Try to stay calm and quiet...
I'm sending thoughts and prayers and energy your way, and will know that the outcome will be the best for all..
