Dreams blog idea inspired me to make two other suggestions:
- One, maybe one thread for diary entries for our characters, in the IC section. That way, if we are a bit blocked for actual RP ideas, we can at least describe what our charr is doing or thinking. Since this would be a private diary so to speak, no one would have to react, although it could be funny if two people described the same incident and had their own take on it, etc. etc.
- Second... there are more rooms that seem to be blooming at the moment. In the past we sometimes had letters from one person in one room to another... but they often fell down quickly within the RP threads since it takes a while to reply etc. etc. Why not put a sticky up for one thread to receive all messengers and see if there are other castles interested in doing the same. It would work like a post office almost. A thread just to write to our friends in other castles and on top we could put links to the boards of all the participating castles so that we easily get there if we have a mind to drop a line. It would be a good way to organise inter realm communication, spark love affairs, trade tall tales and organise visits..
These letters would be fully IC and can keep the play going when we miss eachother due to time difference. Also, thinking of things like memorial services and weddings, it would give people who are unable to come a direct place to send their condolences, congratulations or wise advice...
