Many people have promised me a constant flow of lovely avatars if I would pick a face. ;D Being a girly girl the lure of new dresses is strong, even though I've always resisted picking one actress for Edie. The reason is that, some may look the right way in one part, but quite often afterwards it's almost impossible to find them portraying someone who looks like Edie.
What I am looking for is someone who exudes... gentleness, even more than beauty. (though of course I am vain enough to want someone slightly more to the Michelle Pfeiffer side of looks than Mother Theresa)
So far I have come up with three possiblities. You can find many examples of pictures for these actresses by doing a google search.
- Amy Acker (I've used her in a few avatars)
- Ann Hathaway
- Emmy Rossum
So which one should I pick?

My opinion? (and I've been googling for about 20 minutes, lol) I'd pick Emmy Rossum for your dear Queenly face . . Ann Hathaway is stunningly beautiful, but her features are almost a cariacature, they're so distinctive, and to me, she comes across as almost ditzy (maybe she's played characters that way?) Amy Acker is very sweet and pretty too, but for some reason, to me, Emmy just comes across as more "regal" . . confident without being arrogant.
I can't wait to see what others offer!

well...since you REALLY wanna know...lol...was gonna keep this to myself but personally I find Anne Hathaway not very attractive at all...to put it nicely.
Emmy Rossum is great, but really young..depends on how young you wanna look. But tons of pics...
Amy Acker is great. -nods-

Edie is about 26, which is for the time we play in, very mature.

Well, I shall put in my opinion too. Totally agree with Halethala and Brennekah about Hathaway. Emmy Rossum has look about her of kindness and gentleness, and in my humble opinion might portray the image I have always seen about the character you created that we all know and love. Hopefully you will accept this one as a gift. And if it is never used, not to worry. Avs are so personal and hard to make a good match for others. It's absolutely wonderful, Caera! Thank you very much. I still haven't decided! It's s uch a hard choice. I think I can eliminate Anne Hathaway, but I both like Emmy and Amy
