Santa left these gifts for you to find beneath the tree, secretly of course Perhaps the others who joined in might leave their gifts here when time allows. Many thanks for all who took part and enjoyed a little Secret Santa!
For Halethala:
Nothing can compare to your beauty dear Lady and yet these jewels may enhance such just a little. May all your wishes come true this Christmas.
For Dream:
Dear dear Dream . . my warmest wishes for a Yule season that is bright with peace and hope, and comparable to your own lovely heart. I have several gifts that I hope will bring you joy . .
First, for you, something to enhance a beauty that, in truth, needs no further embellishment . . a pretty shawl . . impractical for warming anything more than your feminine whims. *smiles and whispers* But we all know how dearly we need such indulgences at times!
Next, a portrait of a very rare bloom that would be very difficult to propagate in our climate. Yet, if anyone were ever able to accomplish such a feat, it would be you! It is called a Cypripedioidea . . or more commonly, a Lady’s Slipper. Fitting, I think, for one of the most gracious Ladies I have ever known.
And last of all, I have made arrangements with a small but highly talented group of minstrels to be engaged, at your discretion, to serenade you and your children at a private performance in your wing of the castle during your Christmas Eve meal. They have several pieces already prepared, but are also commanded to give their best renditions of your requested favorites. I think you will be quite pleased with their skill with both voice and instrument, and trust they will set a festive mood for you and your offspring.
Merry Merry Christmas, Mrs. Loxley!
For Sir Repsol:
Of course smoking of any kind is thought to be a bad vice, we all have some of these that make us real.....and without your pipe and a little Rum now and then, you would simply not be our very own Repsol. Merry Christmas to you!
