February begins with snow....snow and more snow! Gosh *L* we are so not prepared for either extreme weather conditions here in the UK..........I believe half the country came to a standstill yesterday as I watched the magical winter wonderland through my windows, safe and warm *S* I must admit it does look beautiful and today the sun is shining and catching on the little mirrors I have hanging from my apple tree.......flitting around the snow like fairies it adds to the magic *S* I doubt the snow will stay long but the weather forecast does mention more for Friday and into the weekend......so watch this space and don't come and visit just yet as even Gatwick was closed for a while *L* mustn't laugh though as I watched the news and all those poor travelers stuck, that must be horrid. I was contemplating another visit to my Dr this week as my voice is still not back completely, and I am still coughing after a whole month........last night however I began yet another cold *L* soooooo............we shall see how this goes before I venture out, hopefully it will only be a cold virus and nothing more......still, I admit I am very weary of it all and look forward to some better health *L* and sunshiney days! I saw my first Snowdrops and Daffodils last Thursday when I visited Mum, gosh Daffs in January *L* that is early.....pretty though, but now covered in snow.....plants are so resilient, I wish we could be more like them! Changes are afoot in my home......all good and yet causing me a lot of emotional distress.........I shall write about it all in my blog I think......perhaps it will help *L* Nothing bad, but I don't do change well......*S* I am so happy to see Gaylor back again, and playing too! wonderful indeed.....and also Giselle......let us hope Windstorm grows even more with these two fine players in our midst! to all and warm wishes for a wonderfully happy February!

Snow?... Snow?...Dreamy I thought it was my medication, the land is white and the pink elephants floating by my window on fluffy white clouds. The only good thing which has come out of the past weeks is the dreams which I am having, they are the best I have seen, I may be tempted to carry on with the tablets when I am fully healed...((Just Kidding Kids, say NO to DRUGS and ALCOHOL)) This year will be better than last, I too wish for a busier home here at WS this year, I did have a thought of actually showing my bottom in woolies window to drum up business but alas that option has gone so we may try M&S instead...LOL. Well thats it for now, I guess I should really get back to dreaming my way to health, you never know I may give an insight in my blog, when I know how to start it.
Peace be with A/all
love Rep

So february has started and it is shaping up to be a busy month. Just little things here and there nipping at time, but usually the little things are fun or at the very least interesting. I am curious to hear about the changes, Dream and about your healing, Repsol. Here life is going the way it does with a todler: suspended between glorious and exhausting depending on whether you are cuddling and reading stories or trying to stop him from running around like a drunk derwish in a house with priceless antiques.

Been back a week, and it was absolutely wonderful! Blissfully trouble-free flights, warm, dry, perfect weather, and a grand time with our friends who have a lovely new home in a beautiful retirement community! We just unwound completely and are already plotting a trip again next January. Mmmmmm . . . I shan't continue to fret at you, Dream, (already done enough of that over ICQ though I do hope you get over that cough soon! You actually made me go out and peek at my own daffodils, I'll have you know ;D but alas, they are still quilted beneath 9 inches of well crusted snow. I've soooo enjoyed reading all the delightfully creative RP threads ongoing now! It's nice to see you writing so much again, Edie

with you all, and a just because............ It is still a little snowy here, the forecaster's are not too sure just where the next lot will fall, we had an unexpected sprinkling last night that turned very icy, I am watching my step when I have to venture into the garden. The sun shone today and I have been watching seagulls sneaking in and stealing away with some bread and scraps I put out for my local birds *L* all good fun to watch. I have waited in this morning for a promised phone call..............suffice to say I am quickly realising some people are simply not what they seem. But onwards and upwards *S* I have also decided to see my Dr Monday to get to the bottom of this awful cough, I have had enough and am rebelling! *L* wish me luck. Have a super weekend all and I promise I shall be playing and writing soon....have lots of things going through my head to put pen to paper......trouble is they come in the middle of the night and keep me awake *LOL* to all.

Work... Bah, I keep telling my husband he needs to find a job where he gets payed to just stay home and cuddle. I will most certainly pray for you on sunday. Today is a busy day for my husband who is asked to speak about the economy for an small conference. In the evening there is a trivia contest. I told him to go as my champion and win something for me. *W* There are some things percolating on the back plate of my life, oportunities that might be opening up, so I would like some extra prayers for that little extra push and courage.

Just to correct my post.......I DID finally get my phone call and will be visited tomorrow by somebody with a view to purchasing my crafts to sell in his shop!! Everything crossed *LOL* It has always been a dream of mine.......and this particular shop is in a place I love to browse........it couldn't actually be in a better place.............so......here's hoping he likes it *L* Best of luck Edie........I guess we just need to grasp opportunities and Go For It! as they say Watching the most amazing sunset here.......the sun is shining on my huge trees at the bottom of the garden, glowing red, the bark is beautiful and the sky beyond is a deep grey, very foreboding.....now there's a word *S* Happy rest of the day to all. xxx

Praying for Rep and Edie, praising for Dream (how cool is that!), waving at Jeff/Gaylor . . and rejoicing in a blindingly sunny warm (relatively . . it's above freezing, barely!) day here that just smacks of spring! I had little people around for the past few days, and it sure is quiet without them today!

We had sunshine yesterday too Letha.......but rain today....a deluge almost! It's all happening here at the moment *L* The man seemed very taken with my crafty bits and bought several items with a view to seeing what his staff in the shop think. He says he will probably call and put in an order......I shall not hold my breath, but the whole experience was fruitful and interesting to say the least! I managed to see a Dr this morning, and well........... *L* virus......a word that covers a multitude I think *S* The Laryngitis is now Pharyngitis, caused by a viral thingy.......my chest is clear so thats a goodly start, and I have more medicines for my asthma. I do feel better today actually, apart from the voice......which I was told several times to rest! Me.....not speaking *LOL* well.....that is a very hard thing to achieve *L* Monday........a new week......full of expectations here.....and moving furniture etc......I can see it being an emotional week, and yet full of promise for the future *VBS* Wishing Repsol a speedy recovery, and Galor and Eva lots of luck too! Been thinking a lot about our friends in Australia with all the terrible fires, and hoping all is well. Stay safe and well all......enjoy the new week.

I love seeing this thread fill up. I love just reading the little notes on peoples days and weeks. The well wishes, the silly as well as the serious. I love reading a little snipped here, and then the big picture in the blog thread. I slept badly tonight though I am not certain why. Some nights just are like that. And this morning the computer was being difficult. It reminds me of the book "Alexander and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day". Let's hope mine shapes up a bit better! Dream: congratulations on the guy liking your crafts and buying some for his store. To by honest, I am not surprised. I LOVE your work. Now I am going to be intimidated to show some of mine here though. ;D And tell that evil virus to go away! Letha, how wonderful to see the sun. Today does look like it's going to be warm and sunny.
One piece of lesser news: My husband and I were going ona four day mini retreat in may, with my mother and father in law watching Joseph during that time. It was all arranged and booked, and it turns out that they forgot for a moment that they were going to watch Joseph and sort of 'double booked themselves' as they invited family over for those same four days. So we will have to see how that works out.

Sort of a blah day here, with lots of interruptions, changeable weather and a busy baby. Hopefully going to the museum tomorrow will have a good influence on his mood and on mine. I am trying to knit on on the sock that I have started. It's more of an exercise to do the technique. But if I manage this one practice sock, I will try and do a real one in real nice sock yarn. Just need to find a victim.. ehm lucky recipient still.

Galor's wife here...are you knitting on double points or on circular needles? I knit, and I love doing socks.
