Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to a new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same.

I am so glad I knew you Sir Joseph ~ Knight of The Olde Code~ even just a little........and I find myself thinking of you so very often, it is as if you never left us 3 years ago. Your memory lingers within our roleplays and our ooc chatter, and I always smile when I remember you, such a blessing that is.
My thoughts are with his family today as they will be remembering this man they loved so dearly. A very special man indeed.
Miss you Dear Joe.........

Joe is unforgetable. When I named my son, I named him after Saint Joseph, but a small part of my mind could not help but think of the last knight of the old code. Most people will remember Joe for his sense of humour. And he had me in stitches at times, so funny he could be. I remember in one of the memorial threads that Tyrun I believe wrote how Joe wrote about fishing, how he loved fishing. I think he said something like this "I have never fished before. I don't give anything about fishing, but Joe had a way of describing it that made it sounds so much fun. If he shoveled manure for a living, he could probably make you think that was fun too and you should try it." And that was true. And then there was the other side, because as funny as Joe was OOC and IC, he wasn't flaky. When he made a commitment he kept to it. When he spoke of honour, it meant something deep and personal to him, both as a man and as a character. It was one of the proudest moments in my life when, after the epic battle against the Darkrider, in a hall splattered with blood and after 6 hours of exhausting but wonderful roleplay, Joe pledged his sword to Windstorm. I miss him still.

I have wanted to write something for days now. Sometimes it is hard to do this....sometimes easier.
Joe was a friend. And I miss him.
Please keep watching over us Joe.
