he had not forgotten what he needed to do for Juliette.....so what he worked on only happened during the late hours which he now seemed to keep.....he made his way to the smith shop and he entered thru the back and went in and starts the fire...gets the tools needed for the job.....he would get the sketch she did out his pockett and he would look to it....the design and artistry were magnificent...he smiled as he looked to it and then he would get to work on it...he searches for the right metal...this was a special gift, so he searched thru his stock until he found it...he took it out and then over to the flames to heat and mold it.....he had the gloaves in and grabbed the mallot and started to hammer it into shape.....he would miss this as when he attained Knighthood would not be doing it as much ut when he could....after hammering out the metal and satisfied to how it came out he place it in the water to let it cool and hold shape.....

~The gift she had sought Kyle to make was of upmost importance to her. It held a symbolic meaning in the making one that she only understood. Each little detail was designed by what she had seen in her mind. The imagary was precise and vivid and she wanted to see it made into something that would go to the one she held close to her heart. She had made sure Kyle knew that it was not to be known my any other but him. It was to be kept secret for the mere fact of the design and the words of another language that she did not want to explain the meaning but mostly she did not want someone to hear of it until it had been handed over. . She couldnt wait until he had the product finished to see what she saw in a dream made into a reality~
~But most knew that she and Stephen had left Windstorm following an accident that involved with one of their children.. Gracie the vibrant little soul had nearly slipped out of their grasp. They had left the very day they had learned of the news. However Jules had sent word back when she had a chance to do so without the constant watch she had been under to avoid her over doing it when she should be resting. Placed on bed rest not only by a healer but by her husband as well. She had to decide whom she could trust enough to deliever the missives she had written one to Kyle and the other to Edie. But the choices of who would travel to take them to where they needed to be was slim. But an old trusted friend came to mind. Sylvia she had known since she had returned home from schooling. After a guard had sought her she met with the woman who had agreed to deliver them for her without issue. With the missives in hand the woman left Dragonshire Highlands that day after grabbing some of her belongings and Midnight her trusty stallion.~
----------------------------------------------------
~The journey had been long but one she would take over again if she had too. Midnight trotted into the land of Windstorm unsure as to where to go she had moved towards the village she had a mission to take care of that she had been entrusted with by the Queen of her home. Sylvia had looked from one establishment to the other.. seeking.. searching for the one place she knew she needed to go. In the distance she could see the heart of the kingdom. The castle stood tall above all else within view.. The sun shown brightly against the stoned walls.. illuminating it with a soft glow. Her darks lowered to the cobblestone road ahead until she had seen the smithy. Pulling the reigns Midnight moved off to the left and came to a hault. She dismounted and tied the reign to a nearby post. Her hand lifted to cover a soft yawn.. then stretched her arms moved up above her head to do so. Lowering just as quick as she gathered herself. Smoothin out her skirt and adjusting her cloak. Lowering the hood she steps forward and towards the shop moving easily through the door. Her darks moved from one side to the other taking the place in as she took slow precise steps forward. Waiting til someone acknowledged her but she didnt want to wait all evening either. A frown had crossed her lips at first noone was seen but soon a figure moved forwards "May I help ye M'Lady?" He asked a broad smile formed as her looked over towards her.. Taking a cloth to his foreheard wiping the sweat from his brow. "I have a missive for..." She trailed off to think of the name.. "Draven?" she asked unable to recall his first but then again she was tired and would make sure her task was complete. "Aye" he replied "Me name is Richard M'Lady I be his apprentice if you wish to leave it here I will make sure he recieves it quickly" He again smiled towards her a smile of her own given.. "I would appreciate that it is important that he gets this as soon as possible" she replied. "Of course M'Lady I will take it to him now" he nodded. Her darks observed him though as if to see if his words were true. She nodded softly and closed the distance between them as she reached into the pocket of her cloak and pulled out the missive she made sure she kept on her at all times. He handed it to him then it held te seal of her home land Dragonshire Highlands. "Thank ye kind Sir" His smile widened as if he had some sort of wicked plan.. and she glared a moment before she took her leave and when she did Richard moved to take the missive to its rightful owner. Returning to Midnight and mounted up.. a missive was to be taken to the Queen of the home. When Kyle opened the missive he would read:
"M'Lord,
I am nae sure if ye had noticed I have nae been around the Halls of Windstorm. Upon recieving word from my home that my daughter had been injured Stephen and I left the same day. But I assure you I keep my word. I have sent a trusted friend when the task we spoke of is completes look for a woman by the name Sylvia McKenna. She will make sure the exchange is done and what we had discussed is delievered to me upon completion. I am sorry I could not be there to see to things myself. We shall meet again Im sure until then Blessed be M'Friend.
Juliette Alexander Queen of Dragonshire Highlands. "
:The missive was short and to the point. Jules had little time to go into detail obviously without it being known what she was upto and hoped the missive had found Kyle in good health.:

he was back at the shop now after he came to his senses....he was finally back to the way he was....the phase he was going thru was over and done with...though he could still feel the calling it as not as it as now.....when he got back to the shop he looked down to the sword he start ad he shook his head and he tossed it out and he started over.....he got that metal he used before and he would start over.....he'd heat the metal again...this time he would finish what he said he would start.....he would hand deliever this to the kingdom if needed.....for taking so long he would give back the money as well to....he place the metal into the fire and he would have all his protctive gear on and have his mallet and tongs in hand and he started to hammer out the metal......he would shape it to the design specified by the Queen....this part was easy really.....it was like he was never away from the forge.....once he was done he took and placed it in the water and cooled it and let it take shape......this time it as new and fresh and he smiled...he placed the sword to the side and let it cool....
he let the metal sit and cool before he was to start the engraving.....he did this on his own as she nae wanted any to know about it and he remembers and would respect that....he was in a part of the shop that he himself would only go in....he had keys and locks to go with them...he picked out one to her specifcation.....he would find a lock to match that realy would not take to long......the box he would make soon......as he went to engrave the key he heard a knock on his door and he looked up and over to it and he spoke the words "Come in".....when the door opened he sa it was Richard and he smiled to you and he walked ovr and spoke and handed me a letter and he told him it was delivered a while ago and he sighed and he nods ot him and Richard left and he then opened and read the letter and he nods to it and he thinks about the young lady the other night he met.....then it hits him like a ton of bricks......if he had been here sooner he would have known who she was....he sighs and shakes his head and he reads the letter and once he was done he nods and shook his head and he tucked the letter away and he would continnue on with what he was doing.....
he got back up and he went back out in to the other room and he got to workon the hilt of the sword....he actually felt bad and with all that went on he never forgot about this but he was neglegent in his duites.....he had to rememeber he was asmith first....he figures to get everything done and do the engraving to all last.....he knew where to get the box from and would go to the shop soon...well the peices anyway he would out it together....he bascially had all done but the engraving and he smiled to himesf and he would get word to wither the Queen, but maybe he would seek out Slyvia and hoped she is still in the lands of Windstorm....

he came back to the shop and he went straight to work as he wanted to finsh this for the Queen of Dragonshire......it has been too long since he really been in here and she told him no rush but he like to make good on his promises and he would not break this one and start down that road.....he takes the key first and he puts it in the gris to hold it steady as he started to etch on it......he had the note rught there with him and he thought that what it said was very sweet and romantic and meant for the truestest of loves......he smiles as he got to wotk on that...had his finest tools for the job as he did it.....he started to etch the words into the key......twas a long process as you needed to be careful...one slip and you needed to start over....but he been doing this for over twenty years now....people would look at him and really not believe but you really had to know him to understand it.....once he was done on the one side hestarted on the other after inspection.....he blew away the shavings and looked to it and smiled and he nodded his head and he then placed it back into the grips and started on the other side of it and he began to etch that as well...the key alone small, btu not too much so took the morning for him to do.....the next thing was the blade and that would take the rest of the day working straight thru.....he was don the key and again blew the shavins away and he smiled and he put it with the lock...he was going to get the box to put it in next....he placed the key and lock in a special place and he then left the shop forthe box...he nodsa nd smiles to Richard on his way out and he headed to the shoppe where his , well the peices of wood he needed was....
he would walk into the shop and and looked around for a bit...he remembered the lenth and width of the sword he mad eand the length of the hilt as well and he looked for peices that would match up to it.....he had the hindges ready for it ......he was more than a smith he was a builder as well....he waves to the shop owner and he would go over to himand asked if he had what he was looking for.....the shop keeper took him in the back room leaving his wife out front to greet new comers.....he waved to her and then followed the shop keeper into the back.....he looked around fora bit and he saw what he needed....he looked to it and he measured it out to make sure it was the ttight length and width and it was....it was already togehter he pointed to it and the shopkeeper told him where it was from....it actually held two blades in it and a dagger which why it was the way it was...he smiled and both men walked back out front and he paid him for the box even though the shokepper woulf have gave it to him for free really but he would not have it that way......he smled and he left the shop and went back to the smith;s shop and he walked in and he asked Richard to go and grab him some food when he would get some and Rich nodded to him and he was thankful for that and he went in the back and he put the box away and he started to engrave the sword.....
engraving the sword would take all night long to finish but he was done with it....he did not do anything else that day even eat...his food lay out andwas cold and he could not eat it...he would owe Richard for that.....but he after the etching would then attach the blade and hilt together...he would see it locked all in place and he smield...once all was done he picked the sword up and he tested it's balance...he test it out with a few swings and then balance it on the flat of his hand.....once satisfied he would warp the sword up and put it with the rest of the items for it...he would go back to the casle and clean up and then check in on Sofia as well if she be awake still....as he steped out his offiice he loooked and Richard was working as well and he smiled and went to see what he was doing but nae said anything asnot to blow his concentration....Rich looked up and said "Guess we need to close up shop if you're done" they both laughed and headed out then.....the shop was locked now and they would go to thier respected places of rest for the night.....
he would walk up to the castle as he did everynight and hum a soft tune carried by the night air as he went back with a smile on his face......
