Something was different about the atmosphere in the castle. It was nae something that one could lay a finger on easily, but it was felt by all. People seemed subdued yet there was nae a mourning flag hung out that could account for the strange quiet. Surprising perhaps the most fervent whispers were nae found in the kitchen, but in the guard quarters. Whenever Sergeant Lan was nae on duty, he was besieged by questions. Was it true? Had the queen be locked up with a man? Had there been a threat of war? Was that what had the little queen so quiet? What did the scantily clad Amazon queen have to do with it? Was that why Lord Caius Vermillius had been here? Yet if so.. why had the queen nae called together the councellors and anounced the news? She had called for her brother, hadn't she? And what had Kyle to do with it? And the man in the dungeons? The men had a thousand questions, more so than those of the kitchen, because they had a little more of the facts. And the facts were disquieting in themselves. Lan however, refused to speak of the Queen's business. He had seen and heard more than most, and the fact that he too seemed uneasy was what unsettled the guards even more.

the atmoshpere in the castle has eased some as of late but there was still smething there....some questions that needed to be answered....again it was the guards and this time they convered with the kitchen over what it could possible by....there was something still amiss in the hallowed halls of Windstorm....what was it between the Squire and the Queen....once seen as the best of friends and now there was something between them...so much so that some saw Lan pull the squire into the hall and away from the Queen, but none know what was said and again Lan did not respond to anything, this be on last night's pass....today,this from the kitchen...the young squire and the Queen in the hall and hugged up on one another....many started to specculte and then there was something given from the squire to the Queen....a token of love maybe?....
