Return of the families, wounded and noncombatants from Windstorm to Beaumaris
Queen Caera Anne, asked her sister, Princess Alys of Dragonwyck and Lord Cailin of Caernarfon to travel to Windstorm. They were to bring a chest of gold to Queen Edfeil as repayment for looking after the people of Caernarfon, sending supplies and ships to Caernarfon when they were in greatest need. And The Princess and Lord Cailin were to bring home the people of Caernarfon who wished to come.
The Princess and Lord Cailin set sail from Dragonwyck with five of Dragonwyck's largest ships to bring home the noncombatants, those who had been wounded and the families who had fled to Windstorm for safety. After a stormy voyage they arrived in Windstorm. Upon arrival, Lord Cailin, in the name of his Queen presented the gold to Queen Edfeil with the heart felt appreciation of the Kingdom of Caernarfon. Princess Alys presented a personal letter of thanks from her sister. They stayed for a few days so the people could be gathered for the ships.
Families were kept to together and they set sail back to Beaumaris. Their voyage was far more pleasant on the return. The sailors worked patiently with children under foot, wanting to know what everything did and how it worked. Friends talked of their new lives and plans they had. They were a people of hope, calling a place home, they had never been, but looked forward to it.
Upon return to Beaumaris, and disembarking, each household was given a bag of silver, a furnished home, bags of grain, and fresh fruit. They had been told if they needed metal items made, to see the metal smith in town, Alexander Amos and the crown would pay to have it made. Those who wished farms, the houses that were given to them, had plowed and planted fields. They were told livestock would be arriving in Beaumaris for them in the next few weeks.

says to ALL: the five caravel ships arrived at the docks in town, aboard were the families, who had been wounded and the non-combatants who had been taken to Windstorm for their safety, finally they had arrived home. The gang planks would laid down and as word spread through out the town, and town bell was rang, many came to greet family and loved ones.

says to ALL: turns his head towards the docks...there's obviously a commotion in that direction, and he lets his eyes squint so he might better see it...not that it helps...perhaps you are getting too old for all this, Tycho...shaking his head with a laugh as he turns to start walking along the street in the direction of the docks....
