That sounds like a wonderful idea to me. Joseph and me are fighting with a cold and I would love for it to be going, going, gone!

*Seconds Lady Dream's decree . . *
Well, seems I'm outside the zone . . but it's finally rained a teensy bit more and warming up to murderous levels again. Boy have I loved this cool mild summer! We had dozens of projects planned, and many actually got accomplished!

I entered a new phase of motherhood. Joseph managed to climb out of his crib. And my son who was so happy to sit in there and play with his stuffed animals while he was not sleeping now crawled out no less than eight times during naptime, attempting to get downstairs or run around like crazy. It was a struggle.

I heard the baby's heartbeat yesterday. That was absolutely wonderful. Even though it took quite a while since the doppler did not work and they had to find another one. Aparently that was a big problem. My appointment took an hour and a half, but it was worth it to hear that sweet sound!

Awww that is wonderful. I hope you're feeling better than the last time I talked to you. I know you've been having some troubles. And hopefully the little man will learn that one of these days he's going to hurt himself crawling out of his crib. I'd hate for him to hurt like that.

He actually has been incredibly good. After that one day, he has never crawled out anymore! He's been a pretty good boy lately, though of course up and into everything like a true todler. I can't believe he will be going to preschool in less than two weeks. He has an Elmo packpack and is just about bursting with pride about that.

NOT a good day for me. My little boy went to his first day of preschool. Of course this was accompagnied by the expected first day drama, including clinging to mommy's skirts and lots of tears. It was difficult on both of us, but after arriving early to pick him up, I glanced through the window and watched him play nicely. By pick up time he was crying again, but still... with periods of happy behaviour in between all the drama, it seemed like a good omen. Untill.. with an impatient two year old clinging to my hand, the program director came out and told the four parents picking up their children that they only HAD four registrations in total and that therefor the program would have to shut down in two weeks. They could not have told us that BEFORE the first day of school, so we could start our children somewhere else?
