((With so much happening at the same time, I am hoping to bring things together for myself here......instead of posting several different replies. )
*The days had passed by at such a fast pace, she hardly had time to think of late.......now, she sat upon an old log in the gardens.....her only company the birds and the creatures of the lands.
Much had happened....many had come....some moved on, some stayed to give what help they could as the Castle prepared itself for change. She had spent many a long hour sitting with Lady Edfiel......an improvement was seen, but still her progress back to good health was slow. Nicole had come to stay....a weight taken from her shoulders now.....leaving her time to be spent taking care of her daughter and the needs of her home.
Laurestina also was ill of health, but the dear Lady had many to tend her needs. Her knowledge of the healing ways was being imparted to both Lord Roland and our guest Lady Raven. She had faith now that soon the bubbly lady would be seen flitting about the Castle and gardens once more.
She had noted how hard Lord Sighehelm worked......he did all she had asked, and with such a need perhaps...to keep busy. She felt for him.... his heart so hurt from life....but mayhaps by staying and giving his all to our home.....he would find some comfort knowing how highly he was regarded here. His dear lovely young Sister was indeed a breath of fresh air....and it troubled her to read the note she left. Mayhaps she was to travel back to the safetly of her Kent home.....but .....if time allowed....she would have liked her to return.
Halethala and Sinold did not seem to have spent enough time together....the days of their courting should have been filled with laughter and pleasing memories....instead the days has seen him working hard to prepare for battle...and the dear Lady working at her duties with a passion. Perhaps the time apart would only give to strengthen their love...much as it did for herself and her beloved.
She thought of him then......and smiled softly to imagine him thinking of her. Mayhaps Sir Dorian had met up with the Rangers and their leader......she had no idea of their whereabouts......but no news was seen to be good.
Absently she twirled her hair around her fingers......the foreigners had arrived now.....the tension within her home was so thick it could be sliced through with a sword.....time would only allow for what may or may not happen.....she pondered such as she sat there, quietly gathering her thoughts and hoping to make sense of everything. She had felt distant of late.....her own health not so good and the demands of the Castle taking its toll. Strength and courage would find her once again....as it always did. Such was the way of things.*
