Francois had studied these English dogs for many minutes past the time he would've left if he had been allowed to, where they not within the Castle. He found the Dove of Kent minorly intrigueing..for certain she was beautiful beyond words, something to keep in the back of ones' mind, for another time perhaps.
Narurally he had become infuriated when Lamont told him of how the "meeting" went after he left...Some ill-mannered lout by the name of "Lord Gray" had insinuated that his Leader was some kind of "seagull" (whatever that meant!) and another..one "Sir Joseph" had gones so far as to almost draw blade upon the "guests of Windstorm" right within the very walls! How uncouth can the English be???
He would be very happy indeed when the word was given to "make short work" of these dogs! Altho he had heard of at least one that had SOME manners at least! Sighehelm of Kent showed how diplomacy was actually done! A most Noble man this warrior from Kent! He would mark this man as a "Just Hero and Gentleman" when he killed him, and raise his name up upon his mantle where stood other names of those he had killed, but thought worthy of praise for their Honor and Courage.
Mayhap there was a method to ensure that this man had no say in matters....Surely it was a bold plan that ran thor his dveious mind....kidnap the Dove, and thereby elminate the man from Kent from any swordplay that would arise! Question was..How??
The damned English King had more Guards around then he had ever seen within four walls...Would make it extremely difficult, if nigh impossible, to forceably withdraw the Lady from the Fortress...but then, Francois was a resourceful and patient man..he would find a way if there was one!!
So, with the plan hatching in his much too fertile brain, he went about his normal duties of the Day..Perhaps Lamont could further educate Francois on the layout of this "Fortress Windstorm" yes, that would be a most excellent thing to have!!!
