Our Queen Edfeil has been a huge and very special part of Windstorm since it's creation 10 years ago and we want to both show our gratitude and also mark the occasion with a celebration. We are at present deciding on a date and time for a gathering in the room and this thread will be left open for all of you to show your individual appreciation. Memories, pictures, prose, anything that reminds you of Edfeil's enormous contribution to Windstorm and her ooc friendship to so many people. Many thanks in anticipation of your replies and we look forward to reading your thoughts and feelings. (The room gathering will be within the next 4 weeks.) |

Awww... ten years... it still feels strange that Windstorm has been a part of my life for an entire decade. I have met so many wonderful friends in that time, people I would love to see again. People that are still close to this day.
In a way, Windstorm even led me to my husband. While he is not a roleplayer, I would never have had the confidence to meet this wonderful man that I had met online, if it wasn't for all the previous wonderful experiences with the great friends I was blessed to meet in real time.

10 Years, Well my dearest Eva you have certainly weathered well, I remember with fondness the Old King introducing us..*eg* and as with our other friends here at WS who have moved on but not from our hearts, you are a steadfast figure and a guiding light which somehow brings us moths clambering back to the glow which surrounds Windstorm.
I wish to join with Dreamy and Kyle and others to wish you many more years in governance of this fine Home.

-brushes the dust off my Royal tunic and shoots the good Lady a warm friendly wink and grin as I cough up some nasty dust bunnies-
Had to jump off my dusty shelf for a moment to say Congrats to you Lady (now Queen) Edfeil. All the best to you and to continued success to Windstorm and all those within that call her home.

oh dear...-gets the dust mop and cleans up some, smacks Draak on the back to clear out the rest of those dust bunnies....then when he's not looking removes a few of the nails holding the shelf up so he'll fall off eventually...saunters away whistling innocently-

Tens years..my has time passed...congratulations and i have loved my time within the room n to have met you m'queen!!! miss you dearly and do hope you havent forgotten me!!Well wishes to everyone who has become apart of the room. Oh my word... so many lovely and dear old names. You do not know what this means to me. This year, with the birth of my second son RT has had so many ups and downs and challenges (mostly of time and patience)... but to see here how much I am loved still in this RP world... it just.. blows me away.
