*He sighed lightly as he moved down the stairway to the upper levels of the balcony over looknig the main hall of Windstorm. Casting his blue eyes over those gathered, he grinned lightly. Turning from them, he moved slowly to one of the windows overlooknig the courtyard. Resting his slender rame against it, he cast his gaze over the courtyard, those moving about it under his watch and gaze. Sighing lightly, he tilted his head to gaze towards the sky above, cast a lgiht blue, interrupted randomly by specs and small fields of white.
His cousin was donig better now. Her body was still weak and sickly, but her spirit was resting again within her. Lucien was certain that if any had seen what he had done, they would have been speechless, more with question and shock than wonder. The ways of his kin and blood were mysterious indeed.
Somethings were not so mysterious
This was the case now as he rested against the windows sturdy frame, staring into the nothingess of the Heavens. Today, with the peace that surrounded him, his cousin resting, his people preparing for a festival, his recruits following the assigned training regime, he allowed himself some time for his heart to speak. As he stared into nothing, his mind and heart drifted to Andrea. She had simply vanished. With all he had done to find her, there was no trail, no trace of her to be found. It was almost as the Heaven's had sent a messanger to retrieve her as one of their own. How he yearned for her touch, her scent, her mere pressence. For her to be here. Looking over the railing at those gathered, he sighed lightly. She was not, but others were. Others who would need help and possibly protection in the times to come. With the thought of war and combat so fiercely present, he had to stay and defend those whom he cared for. This place which he cared for. Which Andrea cared for. Perhaps after all this was done, he would stake out to the north to search for her, to find her. From what he knew of her past, she had pwoerful enemies which might have sought her death. There was a chance she would nto be alive for him to find. Such was an option, he refused to believe. For now, he would stand at guard of this place, he would remain diligent for her return. She would return. With this thought in mind, he returned to gaze over the courtyard to the Heaven's beyond, his eyes softer than their usual tinge allowed them.
