Certain that she had left the sight of the beautiful scene back at the castle. It was certainly not like her to leave her family and those gathered to go into the village. However, she had grown weary of the endless gurads, and the orders to not leave the castle, that she finally told herself she would do what she had needed to do along time ago. Quickly turning her well trianed and responsive horse to the right, Just before getting into the village she and Moonlight had followed the coast. Slowing Moonlight down to a canter, as she scanned the distant tree line, of the forest. All the while, trying to see the two giant oak trees that marked the entrance to her destination. …. Wales…
She was not surprised to have lost still another guard that she was informed of shortly before her planned departure. this one she never heard of, so she certainly out smarted him or so she thought
* must be a young one, and a novice at that *laughing to herself* she didn't think anyone would be able to catch her anyway, and that was precisely the way she planned it. There was no need for any Lord to have to follow her, *nodding her head* as she could and would be able to fend for herself. This was something she had to do, she needed to find her Father’s and Mother’s grave and see if her old home still stood, as well as mark all the trees that she wished to have cut, for a barter.
The ride was so refreshing, not only the air, but the power of horse beneath her made her feel absolutely free…at last… and soon she would be at home in the woods.

Just spurring out on Lady Andrea's mount from the Courtyard left Corporal Dale wondering why She had insisted on changing mounts with Him. After all Windstorms supply of troop mounts were better than he had ever seen.
As the horse under him began to stretch out and and it's hooves ate up the turf under it, he discovered why the Lady was so insistant. Gracious Heavens, it seemed the horse ran like the wind and had shone no sense of the hard ride being a burden on him.
He followed the Lady's trail by following the tracks of her own fleet footed mount... and as a short time past, He could begin to see the distant form of the Lady and her horse, riding hard still he quickly closed the gap.
Having heard of this Lady's strange ways decided he would stay close to her and let her have her own space to care for her natural ways but still be close enough to be there if trouble showed it's head. This way giving the Lady a modocum of privacy and still carry out his assigned duties.

Having rode hard for some time, pats Moonlight's withers, as she *whispers Good Horse…*. As she pulls back the reigns gently. Needing to let the horse graze in the meadow, she dismounts and looks around. Seeing that she has reached the end of the beach, still seeing the tree line, but much closer now, as it seemingly extends on forever. Doubting herself, wonders if she will find her way? She didn't dare miss any of the landmarks that linger in her distant memory. Taking off her boots wiggles her toes, while she sits down gingerly, in the meadow. Lying down on her back looking at the clouds, wondering if she can really accomplish this journey. Getting back up and stretching, looks around at all the new emerging growth. As she walks to the beach leading Moonlight onto the sand, she can't help but wonder why everyday couldn't be this beatuiful. Letting the sand massage her feet, feeling the warmth of it, the soft caressing upon her feet. She walks into the waves, leading moonlight's reighs in one hand, pulling up her skirts with the other. Bending over, splashes some water on her face… continues she meandering around the shore. As she lets moonlight’s reigns go, he returns to the meadow to nibble on the fresh spring grass. Turning around in the direction of what she perceived was the castle, she thought she could hear the sound of the banners and flags waving. Knowing she must be hearing things, it must be the waves hitting the sand and rocks. walks out of the water and lays on the sand , face down, on her stomach, arms crossed making a pillow for her head , while she watched moonlight on this gorgeous sunshine spring day. She knew this would be her last chance of a warm rest, as once she entered the forest, it would be cold, damp and dark. She would need to fight with all she had to forge on. Calling to Moonlight, he grazed his way closer to her, leaning his long neck over to the edge of the sand where the green spouts shot up, staying close but seemed to be watching over her… pawing the sand, as if to say, *let’s get going mi Lady*. She found the warmth of the sun so comforting, so relaxing and peaceful, that she fell asleep…. The warmth enveloped her as the sun gave her a much-needed shot of solace.

*opening her eyes, shutters a bit, realizing it is once again getting colder*
wonders where had the warmth of the sun gone, and where was she? Looking around, she spots moonlight, still muching away on the grass....
Her Mouth opens wide, seeing the sun going down leaving an amazing peacefull glow of color all around her.....is this is dream as she places her hands in the sands that still hold the warmth of the day, holding herself up... wonders.... where has the time gone?

_Corporal Dale had stood watch over her all day long while she had slept upon the sun warmed sand. He had built a campfire some distance from her, had even been able to catch a few fish with the hooks and string that were in his pack that had been been transferred to Lady Andrea's horse, that now grazed on sea oats and grasses long with Lady Lauestina's horse._
_The fish now cooked over the burning fire send a delicious scent into the air. He knew eventually the Lady would decern it and come to investigate it as having gone the whole day with out eating would set her mouth to watering as his was._
_He looked down the beach in the setting suns light and saw the Lady stir and sit up looking out to sea. Glad he had not had to disturb her when High Tide had come in as she had set her set up above the water line from it. He called out to Her from his place near the fire_
Milady!! _calling out to her_ Milady, ye care for something to fill ye belly? Ye slept most of the day away ye should be famished. There be fresh fish on the fire. _She turns and looks in the direction the sound of his voice had come from and waves to him._

Pulling her knees up to her chest and wrapping her arms around her skirt wrapped legs, resting her chin on her knees. Rocked back and forth with a smile upon her face, and amazed by the beauty of the lights and colors that filled the sky. She felt at peace with nature and she had begun to feel like she was home.
Noticing the drifting of smoke ebbing to and fro, and entwining her with its whispfull tentacles of white, her eyebows gradually knit together in grave concern. Another familiar scent became evident, squinting now, placed her hand over her eye bows to shield her from the blazing sunset..... Looked to her left and saw a fire set in the sands down form her on the beach. The fires, licking its darting tougues into the air and letting the wind blow it about...., *WHAT is that... Who is that? A Lord….? * her mind tumbled into fear, and anxious to get way, she tried to rationlize who it could be. * Well who could it be? *
wondering to herself, if it be her guard that she thought she had outsmarted, or …*oH no.. It wouldn’t be one of Tyrun’s men, and nae it couldn’t be one the French ships sailors.* Surely, this man, whoever he is, was nae out to hurt her or cause any kind of trouble, as he would have caught up with her by now.
She wasn’t taking any chances. Though the temptation was there, to go and ask him if he would share his catch of the day with her, she knew better. Forgetting all about her day’s escape from reality…she looked around for her horse, moonlight, his reigns were within her arms reach. Slowly she got up all the while , keeping her eyes on the figure of the man and the fire. On tip toes , taking show long gracefull strides, led the horse to the edge of the woods, and thought about returning to the beach for some dry drift wood in order to start her own fire. She couldn't take the chance of being seen with her own fire now... what was she going to do.? She squatted down behind some bushes while moonlight did not wish to be pulled back into the shadows. * trying to think of a way out of this*

Hearing * this strang man on the beach...* call out to her... he seems friendly enought, but a lady could never be too sure, so she had been taught all her life. She found her self peeking out beween the branches of a tree, as her mouth watered for some of that fresh fish, she thought she smelled on the fire. Though, she still remained concealed in the brush adn was having a difficlt time keeping her horse content, he seemed to be feeling his oats again, and needed to run, she was very alert to any movement or sound that eminated from that man.

The Cold spring night began setting in leaving in it quake a lady who dressed in many layers had begun to skake from the mists blowing in from the ocean. she was now thinking of checking out that man and his fire, and the knowledge that sizzling hot fish sure beat the dried bisquets in her sactchel. also, aware that she may not be standing in the safest of foliage, unable to see what she be squating in, fears some plants known for creating very nasy rashes and profuse itching. Rises slowly, and not having to pull her horse far...decides to get on her mount and ride over to the fire and check out the presence of the man on the beach. Well aware if that she see's or hears anything from him that gives her cause for more alarm she kick her horse and take off as fast as he will go at a moments notice. Mounts Moonshine and gently kicks his sides as they take off towards to fire.
Having herad his voice she hopes this be who she thinks it is, and that hosre sure looked a lot like lady Andrea's, Kadalyk. approaching the fire, moonlight rears up and dances about a bit while she looks at the man closer, and keeps her keen eyes and ears open as she waits furthur word.

_OOO Gaaa now I dids 't. I sceered her and she be off and runnin agin._ The corporal said to himself, when he saw the Lady jump up and run toward the brush. He thought about heaping sand atop the cooking food, fire and all, to ride after her but halted when he saw that Milady's horse was still here. Speaking to himself. _Mebbe I jist gie the Lady a frite and she be waiting to see iffin I be friend er foe._
As the skies grew darker Dale went back to tending the food on the fire His attention tho at all times to the sounds about him and before long the sound of a horses hooves could be heard scraping the sand. Looking up he could see Milady coming toward him mounted on her steed that seemed a bit jumpy as it approached. Standing slowly and face impassive. He called out to her again. _Milady! 't be me, Corporal Dale ye assigned escort. Ye recognize Lady Andrea's horse nae doot? We both be getting our ears chewed when we git backs fer being gone such a long time, so we might as well enjoy the fish now befer hand, Aye?_

Her hands shook with fright and the damp chill that penetrated into her bones. Hanging onto Moonlight’s reigns with one hand, while resting her free hand on the stiletto sewn into the center of her bosom’s chemise. Pulled her steed to a halt as she looked upon the man sternly, hoping he wouldn’t mistake her for a meek, weak lady. Trying hard to conceal her anxiety, her lip quivering, eyes darting from the fire, to the fish he held on a stick and back and forth summing up his body, his eyes, questioning if indeed he was her escort? He did nae seem seem suspicious of harboring anything against her, but she had to be sure. Taking the stallion’s reigns, and holding them up high with one hand, gently squeeaed him into a trot with her legs, while together they circled the fire. Holding herself high, made sure she didn’t take her eyes from his as they encircled him several times, finally pulling the reigns with one hand to halt, having heard his words. Raises her chin, looking towards the stars and heavens above thankful that this man of honor had come along when he did. Obviously she had once again, lost track of time, and had somehow loddie lolled her day away on the shore of the ocean. So, this be the the young Corporal Dale that had been assigned to her aye? He be the one she had tried to outrun, * pats Moonlights withers* she then spoke:
"Greetings to the Mi Lord, I ,, I do see the have managed to catch up with me aye? I have heard they words,.....and "
Waiting a few seconds as she studies Kadalyk, and looks down into his eyes once more, * quirks her head to the side asking*
"And why do thee have lady Andrea’s Horse then Aye?" Her voice becomes higher and a bit strained now, worried that she has not thought of this before.
" Where is lady Andrea? , What have the done with her?"
Her eyes now filled with anger and worry, all her emotions coming in a flood as she grew more restless, Moon light sensed her tenseness, rearing up on his hind legs, as she held on with a cool calm look. Inside she was filled with worry, and unease concerning the welfare of her good friend Lady Andrea. Nae wishing to pull the stiletto out in this predicament, she was managing to control her body in this percarious position, with her spirited horse. All she could do, for the moment, was wait for a response. Though there was nothing she wished more, than to sit next to the fire, and partake of some cooked fresh, hot, fish, and know she was safe ...... still she needed to know , why was Kadalyk here, and nae lady Andrea?
What was he talking about? getting their ears chewed? When he was a horse thief or worse?

Seeing the suspicion on the Lady's face in the light of the fire as she circled it as she watched him, understandable for her but still she should know him after his having been following her around for a few days since being assigned to her by his Captain.
_M'Lady, surely e'en in this lite ye kin see I be wearin the Castle guard uniform and the WindStorm coat of arms. And as fer me hafin Lady Andrea's horse t'is because she made me switch wif 'er when ye took off like the demons of Hade's be on ye back. Good thing too as that horse hae a lot of speed to catch up to ye liken 't did. Now iffin ye nae be hungry I be puttin out the fire and we be on ours way back to the Castle. But be seemin' a waste of the bounty the Good Lord provided._
Dale walked slowly over to the fire and started to to clean up the camp he hae prepared earlier prepartory to putting out the fire as he waited for her answer Keeping a distance from her to not spook her any more than she was.

Listening to your words and noting the castle of the gurad uniform, and hearing the explaination of taking lady Andrea's horse, she still isn't positive that all that appears to be true is. She has been lead to nae take any man's word as truth. .. she isn't sure that anyone is to be trusted, and that is why she was on her way to her Father's homeland, and to take solace in the woods for a time, to let her heart heal, and to find her roots once more.
She looks at the fire that is about be be extinugished and with a change of heart, speaks: "Corporal, please might I have some of thy fish, and can we just spend this eve on the beach, enoying the warmth of the fire and enjoying the moonlight. If if would nae be a burden for thee, would thee please allow me to spend the night in nature's embrace. It has been too long since I have been out of the castle. "
* eyes plead with you to allow her such freedom.*
Though nae quite sure of any man's intentions or of the possible disquise that men have ben known to wear, knows she is quite able to defend herself if forced. The horse now quiet, she dismounts slowly nae taking her eyes off of the corporal. Her shawl that hides the pike is pulled away from her skirts, quickly she tries to pull the shawl over it again, hoping that is was nae seen. While walking towards the fire, she bends down and picks up pieces of drift wood and places them in a pile near the fire. As she stands quietly looking out to the ocean and then up at the moon.. turns to the corporal.. * pleading with her eyes, to let her spend the night on the beach* .... nae wishing to end her journey and try and talk thee into taking a very long trip into her woods..... she knows the old burl trees be worth a good amount of gold, or better yet a square and fair barter... but she did nae know how she would be able to strike up a deal just yet. She knew that her Father would be pround of her, though her Mother would nae be pleased to have her daughter roomping around in the wilds like a gypsy or a wench.

*Looking to the corporal as he stands speechless*
" Corporal, I know thee were trying to put out that fire, but I am doing my best to rekindle it... Please I beg of thee might we spend the night here... the waves sooth me spirit and the fire will keep us warm..."
Picks up some more drift wood and tries to dig through the sand to rekindle the flames...and hopes that there be some fish left for her ... she needs to eat, there is no doubt.... her stomach aches , as she places her hands over her waist, trying to quell the pain. Looks at the Corporal with soft eyes.... begging him to stay the night with her, and yet be a gentleman in all respects.
