(sorry hun cant recall your name offhand no disrespect intended)
*A simple scroll arrived to the monk's door, delivered by one of the castle pageboys who bowed and departed. It was sealed in simple wax with a simple S impressed in, and unrolled to reveal neat flowing writing strongly flavored with arabic shaping.
Good Brother, I pray ye will forgive me being hasty, urgent need among the far outlands (real life) has summoned me far from the castle for perhaps a fortnight yet to come. During this time, could you, if possible, find any amount ye may gather of willow bark and the inner bark of cherry tree and also slippery elm. With these we may treat at least coughs, sore throat, and upset stomachs. I would request also any lavendar that may be stored, or if ye be very blessed, perhaps some common broadleaf plantain might be found somewhere? (sorry I have no clue of the weather in ws right now). When I return I shall hasten in the making of medicines, with such as may be found. Much peace and blessings to ye Sofia

For a long fortnight she had been out and gone, having returned three days prior. She had stopped in the village only briefly, chancing to meet teh local midwife, who had ordered her to bed to rest for three days, immediately upon hearing what she was doing out in such an odd fashion. "Only just returning from travel? At this late stage? To bed with ye m'lady, let Oleg and yer maidservant be attendin to business and cleanin" the woman's words had come in tones that would brook no disobedience. Sofia had obeyed, to her surprise even enjoying the quiet leisurely time. Now however her mind was active and present again, and she grew mindful of herbs and barks gathered in her travel. With these in her thoughts she sits to her desk, dipping quill to ink and writing neatly pon plain fine parchment
Good Brother Monk I have returned to the kingdom after my travels, and have brought some small amounts of the items I had asked you about. I will be making medicines and salves soon, and will appreciate any herbs or barks ye may be able to add to the supply. Best blessings Sofia
Then she sealed it up and walked out to the end of the litlte forest path. A passing maidservant got flagged down, and paid a tiny coin to take the missive to the castle. Then Sofia turns and goes home to bed and get more sleep.
