Just had to use that word, not sure its a real one though  June.......gosh, just how did we get here?? I swear the days go by far quicker as one ages......I guess when I am 60ish if I blink I shall actually miss a day! June has begun with a much cooler morning and I do feel for all those people here in the UK who have planned special outings and celebrations because the weather man......well, we are expecting a deluge on Sunday with showers from then on.......no change there then! Summer was rather short and sweet *L* Let us hope we have nicer days again soon. I am rather pleased to see all the bunting around my Town and I have got some in my garden too....I bought a lovely teapot, Royal style and a Union Jack cushion ...yes do chuckle but I find it all rather special. I appreciate not everyone holds the Royals in high esteem, and I personally don't agree With all the wealth but I have to wonder just what the UK would be without them all. I vote keep them as it does make us that little bit special.....besides just what would bring all the tourists here.....besides out beautiful countryside hmmm. ;D We had no real plans for the weekend but have ended up having a dinner party tonight for a friends Birthday and also Monday family coming over.....sooooo will be wonderful to entertain in my new room! Won't matter about the rain too  Look forward to reading of you all as time allows and hope everyone is well and safe as we venture into this new Month. Wednesday we have Venus and the Sun having a moment together! Hoping to see that! Take care all....  |

Not a chuckle one you will find from me. I am pleased to see one who takes such pride in their country and their people. My middle daughter and i have had our conversations as of late beginning just before the Royal Wedding "Did you know there are still real Royals in the world? Not like Cinderella, these are real.." She said "Really!?" And I showed her their pictures and told her who they were and where they lived. Its a building thing as she still doesn't fully understand but I thought if I showed her those things then maybe it would make her dreams flourish. Like me she loves the ideas of Kings and Queens etc lol "Medieval Geek" comes to mind lol

Cara......I was the same at School, adored History and Geography best of all the subjects...Art too. So much still to learn! June has been a strange Month here, with the weather appalling, at least they have lifted the hose pipe ban *L* case of having to I think, now we have more water than we know what to do with! Poor folks flooded, can never be an easy time. Short and sweet.......but wanted to welcome Eva home *S* I am sure her trip was very worthwhile but it is always so nice to be home. Enjoy the new day and week all.

Ahh.. thank you, Dream. I have no words for HOW good it is to be back home. In the US as well as here online. I have missed you all, even though I managed to peek in. May is a month best forgotten here at our household, which means I am looking forward to June, July and all the other months to come!

Loves Musicals, but have not yet seen Carousel. Must make sure to do it one of these days. Boys are being rambunctious today. Had some good RP since I am back, and it's so unbelievable how much it helps the stress melt away. Trying to balance things here. Due to being absent for a month, and not being able to work, I am so behind with everything. Hopefully a meeting this evening will put me back on track.

Wow.. I can not believe we are sliding to the end of June already. Siya's visit here is coming to an end and we are about to embark on the journey to St. Louis on Thursday. And then on to San Francisco on Friday. Our little vacation will straddle the end and the beginning of the month. And after that it seems we will be getting ready for the new schoolyear. Joseph starts on the 22th. I wonder how it will feel. After that first week, my little boy will be in school 'full days', which means until 3 pm. shudders.

Time DOES fly by so quickly!! Sign of the times. *eyes shift*
So much has gone on in Europe/UK this month too. That Queen celebrating her 60th year on the throne, the European Cup! (Which England got knocked out of through penalties, of course) And let's not forget the Olympic build up....so much fuss with the Olympics, is anyone else noticing that?? I feel another rant coming on about that one, maybe a second installment of RANTING! is in order hehehe
Wonder what July will bring..... *dreads to think* lol

Busy.. busy.. busy... busy. Overworked and overstressed, but happy with my life. It seems contradictory, but it's true. I've been given a few more hours at work, which will all work itself out nicely after September, but with a non flagging heatwave and two boys that need to be kept busy, I end up working a lot of very odd hours. We have our annual retreat coming up with the Youth group, last year's performance review, we need to change the entire concept of next year's classes, and I have a parents meeting to prepare for, as well as a special video project and a kick off day. All within August.
