Simone's usual presence in the Hall had been noticeably absent for a while. Though the reason behind such was no secret either. Though few had seen her, she'd been locked in her chambers in an attempt to get well. She'd fallen ill and avoided pretty much everyone, with the exception of the serving girl who brought meals that often went untouched.
At first she'd just felt a little off, and didn't think anything of it. So she spent the day in her chambers to get some rest, and hopefully feel better. However, things didn't turn out as she hoped, instead she got progressively worse until all she really had the energy for was sleeping.
As the mysterious illness seemed to let up, she allowed herself a brief excursion to the Hall. Though it was a short visit, it taxed her already waning strength. Still pale, weak, and shaky she returned to her room with a promise to Captain Ulbrecht that she would see the healer the following day.

After making her way down to the Hall to keep her promise to Captain Ulbrecht, Simone met up with Sarah. Sarah assisted Simone to the Infirmary where the two ladies discussed what was ailing Simone and decided Simone would stay in her room on a diet of mostly breads and broths, and medicinal tea as well to help her get well.

She had pon the most earliest hours come to check upon the Lady who had come to her with some illness that gave no coloration to her features. Draining what vibrant life should be there and leave this pasty palor pon her face. Although there was a sign of fever. This worried her greatly. And it would not be the sense of duty that would draw her concern. She does and will always care for those in Windstorm. Come visitor or wanderer or those who reside her perminently. It was her nature and one that would not fade with given time. She had spoken with Millie and Mollie...she had made sure there was a cup of broth and a few rolls ..just lightly glazed with baked in honey...she had also put within that broth herbs that she knew would help the Ladies recovery. All she could do was tend and do her best to help in this situation. Allowing her to reside in her room further...so that her comfort was seen to. The infirmary was not so uncomforting..just a feeling she knew most would get if they had to stay in there night and day ..pon many to follow ...she knew her way around a bit more and the Lady Simone had given her permission to enter her room as much as would be needed. She would be sure that broth..and tea..would be takne in as much as possible.

When the tea and broth was brought to her she would keep to her word and eat as much as she could without pushing it. She still felt wretched, but the more food she got into her, the more of her strength she regained.. Though she grew bored in her chambers all the time, and she could not recall Sarah mentioning that she should nae leave her room.. So one evening when she felt strong enough to do so, she walked around her room a few times to judge whether or not she was up for a trip to the Hall.
However, it was this exertion that caused the low fever to spike just enough that a light sheen of sweat beaded her forehead, and the tremors returned. Stopping herself and resting her hand against the wall as she steadied herself... She found herself looking around with different eyes.. The room, that moments ago she had recognized as her own, now held little recognition to her, and confusion set in as her surroundings no longer seemed to make sense. When she realized she was dressed only in a nightdress she began looking around for a change of clothes, but found her energy waning again.
