September has sneaked up on us! It's right around the corner, barely a few hours distance, and it managed to get past August with more skill than the average thief trying to avoid our ever vigilant guards. ;D
The last week has seen me in the transition of getting both boys to school. This means rising times and naptimes have been changing. In a week or so when I am less tired, I will be back in in the afternoon, but it will be early! Probably between 1 pm and 3 pm EST. Joseph's transition into the new schoolyear went flawless. He'd been ready for it for over a month. Michael's first day is next Wednesday when he will start three half days at preschool. Today we had an open class day and he seemed happy. But those first days of separation are always very hard. On Tuesday there will be an evaluation to start his therapy. (for those that did not know, Michael has started showing signs of autism, so he will start early intervention therapy as soon as possible.).
On the roleplaying front.. wow.. have we been BUSY in August. Usually the summer months are the quiet months in roleplay. Maybe it's been so hot in the US and so cold and rainy in Europe that we've all just had to stay inside more often. Many adventures, many storylines. And so much still to come. We are preparing for the wedding of course, and there is another event (see other thread). And so many stories are blossoming. Welcome to September, a day early.

Transition, transition.. times are a changing.. or a shifting. My RP time during the day seems to be very early for now, around 1 EST to 3 EST. Then in the evening things remain the same,e xcept that by midnight, I am truly fading fast.
Tomorrow my classes start again on Wednesday, but so far the transition from vacation to school year has gone well!

This month I am hoping for new things to happen in life as well in vt. I am slowly getting back into things. Health wise I am still an out patient and waiting on results of pass tests but have high hopes. I can not wait to see you all. I wish everyone a good day/eve/night. Till soon.

Suffering a cold, that really must disappear right now. I have something to attend on Saturday and do not want to miss it. So I am trying to take naps and fluids and honey and every other thing that may help.

Just a little head's up. Michael has been regressing quite a bit these last few days. Enough to have the first steps/ early intervention people come back in to reevaluate and get more therapy. The days come one harder after another. I try to be around as much as I can. Just.. letting you guys know what is going on.

Hang in there Eva, things may turn out better than you first thought. Wishing you all the very best and extra strength to manage whatever life throws at you. Children are the very best things ever, yet they come with so many additional problems we just never imagine when we first hold them in our arms..........long into adulthood....they remain our babies. Take care there and lots of hugs. xxx

Michael is having a bout of stomach flu (again). I am hoping this time it won't be as bad as the previous time. A lot of the regression there was due to the fever, and most was regained quickly (thank heavens). I remember with Joseph how many bugs he picked up those first months in preschool.
Fighting bugs again here. But some fun things to report too. Despite mommy being ill, Joseph;s birthday was fun, and we had a second edition this Saturday in which we switched rooms and gave him a big boy bed. Their rooms look so nice now. My mom here, for another two days after today, means I have so much help (and my laundry is all caught up as well). So.. I am counting blessings at the moment. Isn't it strange when in the middle of that "I wanna die" feeling of stomach flu, you can still think "Oh, I am so GRATEFUL I get to be in bed and be sick this time."
