I have come your majesty for the abbot of Way Side Abbey,, I have been instructed to tell you of one you know as Andrew Wallis.. His mother died at birth,, His Father give Andrew to a friend of his wife she had no sons and her husband was a good man,,, Angus Macallister adopted Andrew, Andrew learned to read, write, as well as completing his schooling as a Squire,, he has fought in two small wars against the Picts, after the second he was knight by his king,, when war broke out in the Norman lands he went across the channel and fought for over a year , his father killed , and it was an internal betrayal that caused his death. Andrew was captured , tortured and was sentenced to death by the Normans, his mother managed to buy his release and after some 18 months of recuperation, he took his revenge on both Norman and his own , he was a hunted man, he was called home by the Abbot, he has signed all his major land holdings to his two sisters, he keeps his title as Earl of Black Horse and his knighthood but never to return to his former lands under pain of death,,,to which he agreed , I am sure he will contact you and seek you permission to return to what he now considers home and that you know the truth about him, that your majesty is up to you ,, there is more to the story but the Abbot thought you should know at least that much ,,, my thanks for your time,,, the Friar bows and withdraws
