To My Dearest Sarah,
I am sorry that is has come to this, my heart...that I must leave you behind when I know that all you wish is to be at my side to help me any way you can. You know the reasons I could never allow this, and I hope that, in time, you will understand. You are my heart...my life...and I will never stop loving you. In your smile, I found my own and in your heart I came to realize that I had one of my own. I know that you fear the worst, that I will not return...and though I cannot promise that to you and be completely honest, know in your heart that I will do everything I can to return to you...to make you my wife, and to have that life together that we both wish.
