That cat was a menace. Well, not exactly a menace. And certainly nae something she would send the dark defenders on. But it was the third time already she had found a decapitated mouse before her door. Nae one had seen the feline.. but she was convinced 't was a tomcat.
And she was equally convinced it's presence was what had sent Dieter into the rafters a few days ago after an archer had sighted and drawn on 'something'. The young man had sworn he'd seen something move within the darkness of the great hall's rafters and, with vigilance a permanent instruction for those wielding the bow upon the gallery, he'd drawn and held. Lan had reacted and while keen eyes had determined there was naught there, it had nae been enough for Dieter who'd used the gallery to access the rafters and see for himself.
