*She was able to sit up in bed now. A smale feat 't seems, but tremendous progress. And to the delight of those that had been watching her dwindling apetite with growing fear, she was able to eat something. The few spoonfulls of porridge she managed when she was awake nae seemed much to boast of, but 't was progress to the broth.
The princess of Windstorm was thin now... thin and almost transclucent in her palour. The fevers had ravaged the frail body and only slowly did she now seem to recover from the attack. She tired easily and conversations or eating seemed to ask so much of her strength still... But for the first in two weeks, 't seemed progress was being made, a tiding that Millie gladly shared with whomever wanted to hear.*

He had known for some time now that the princess was ill, but his own work to help with preparations against a possible attack from the franks laying in wait in their harbour had kept Sinold from visiting with the ill young woman.
This morning, however, saw him with some free time at his hands and finally he climbed the stairs up to cross through the hallways to finally arrive in front of Edfeil’s chambers. A foreign man kept virgil in front of the door, one of Lord Sighehelm’s men. It took quite some pursuading, not the least a promise to some free ale in one of the local taverns once this threat by the Franks would be over, before the man let Sinold pass and enter Edfeil’s room.
There she sat, skinny and frail, like Sinold had not seen her before. With a concerned look he sat down onto her bed, taking on of her hands into his – a liberty he knew would earn him a rebuff if her father had been around, but thanks to Thor Agustin wasn’t – and looked at her.
“You look quite terrible, Edfeil! But I will make you just the thing to bring back your strength: Kings feast it is called. It’s a sheep’s stomach filled with blood mixed with milk, lots of meat, carrots and spices! I’ll make that for you… I’ll get a sheep and make the preparations right away. You should see how quickly you will revive again!”
Sinold grinned confidently, patting Edfeil’s hand.
