~Andrea had not liked the man the moment from the time he had opened his mouth. She had found him more unsufferable than even that Frank Captain De Sennis. Sir Oaklyn can come and introduced himself to her and Andrea had as always offered the Traditional Greeting and Welcome of Hospitality that Windstorm was known for. Lady Sadhbh was present as was the serving girl Becca. But the first thing Andrea heard out of his mouth was talk of slaves and how you had to treat them no better than you would a Horse. And his idea of good treatment of a Horse was to whip them soundly for misbehaving and to run them into the ground for good excercise. Anyone that knew Andrea would know to get out of her way when her eyes changed from the usual serene sea blue to the storm cloud gray that foretold a storm of greatest proportions. When Becca had offered to serve the Man, he had the arrogance of one believing himself to be better only under the Heavenly Father and the Lord Savior. He had spoken with such distain to her that Becca had been hurt badly in her feelings by him. Andrea had cautioned Sir Oaklyn that there were no slaves at Windstorm and that the servants of Windstorm are paid for their duties and that all of them served loyally and to the best of their abilities. And that she would be greatly obliged if he could remember that. At that point she had taken Him into the Castle and had guest quarters prepared for him. Bidding him good night. ~
~When next Andrea had met up with Sir Oaklyn it was in the Great Hall. He had come down from his quarters Again Becca had been present and as well as Lord Phelan. Sir Oaklyn had come striding in to the Great Hall and demanded three things before any had time to greet Him. It was for wine, bread and directions. Becca had again gone off to fetch the wine and bread the look on her face was one of fear of being beaten. Andrea had recognized it from seeing it many times in her Cousins Court. Becca had returned in double quick time with both the wine and the Bread and the man had the audacity to don a glove before taking the wine and the offered bread for fear of being touched by a servant and then reprimand her for not being quick enough. Andrea had not taken kindly to his manner toward Becca and told him that Becca was a well liked and very good servant to this castle.. In future she asked him to speak more kindly of her. To which Sir Oaklyn informed Andrea that she may like her pets and speak as she liked to them. But he would not lower himself to do so. Andrea was fit to be tied but knowing that her temper had brought on worst behavior in her experience with the Frank Captain had kept her face a calm mask and her voice cool and polite. Sir Oaklyn had then informed her as to inquiry after his accomodations and He informed her that as to his acomadations,he thought that Windstorm should have the servants earn this money that was given them,, stating that the bedding should be aired after each guest, and refresments should be ready when He arrived down in the hall. ~
~Andrea had been furious as such a remark for she knew how fastidious the servants were to their duties and knew that indeed what was done each time a guest had departed. She informed him the servants had other duties more pressing than to be at his beck and call. If he liked he could send one of his own servants down to let the castle servants know he was expected. Thinking to herself if only to give warning that he was coming and to find other duties far away from him. Her tone stayed at a cool and reasonable level but her eyes flashed thunderclouds. She then inquired to what direction he had need of and He spoke of a new grave in a small clearing surrounded by trees. She had not heard of any recent deaths and so informed him. But he gave the impression that she was not speaking the truth. The King arrived and she suggested that He asked His Majesty of the direction. In truth not wishing to deal with the Man any longer. ~
~This indeed he did.. And by doing so set the Kings teeth on edge. Especially when Sir Oaklyn spoke of having sent spies around in search of the grave he was seeking. When finally he spoke the name of the one in the grave. Andrea had gone silent totally. She took the time to mourn privately for the sweet and kind old Gentleman that had so endeared himself to many in the castle, with his lovely words and gentle speech. She could not believe the that the discription of the Man Sir Oaklyn said he spoke of. A traitor to the Crown of Macedonia and a thief. She knew there had to be more to this story than Sir Oaklyn let out. Lord Abiyo was not in her eyes the man Sir Oaklyn made him out to be. But the tradition of Windstorm prevented her from asking questions. The King had granted permission for a search to made but that Guards of the Castle had to escort Him upon his search. It was later in conversation when Sir Oaklyn had let the king see his true colors when, He spoke of having the servants especially Becca wear white glove for fear of his heath. The King had spun on him and informed him that, His servents were not for sir Oaklyn's own ammusment. And as he had stated he had had his own with him... If he was so afraid of his health... then the King suggested he use his own servents and stop badgering badgering those of Windstorm. After the King had made arrangements for a group of Castle Guards to accompany Sir Oaklyn about his search and the King departed so did Sir Oaklyn.~
