Secret Santa anyone?

Yes I know....... still a little way off yet.......... but I have seen this done on some messageboards and of course when I was in working world we would often have great fun doing this, as it saved not only money and time, but the effort of shopping for everyone in the workplace.

So, just an idea and one I would very much appreciate your feedback.......and if you are interested, add your name and perhaps we can sort out a way of choosing a number to match the person....thus leaving just one name to find that perfect gift for. All gifts to be given online only and could of course cost a fortune! Let me know what you all think.............

How it works: we have a group of names.....they are allocated a secret number, perhaps by the dice throwing in the room......then one person chooses a number and thus 'buys' a gift to suit that person. Confused?? I hope not ;D

Of course you can Repsol Well Letha, all the years I have been here some of us who had the time chose gifts for all members and friends, once we had an incredible set up that Eva created whereby the gifts were uploaded in secret and only disclosed Christmas morning! That was fun!

If we get enough names I think the secret santa thing could work and may be less work involved.......... we all know how much work is involved in Holidays and Christmastime Mind you, I am doing well so far with my preparations this year!

That would work... I have heard of picking the names out of a hat to make it completely random... and are we doing this IC?

OK...........I have this all under control now and shall pm each one of you with your 'gift recipient' chosen at random ;D

I think in character is easier as perhaps we know more of one another's chars interests etc.
