Heh, probably the byproduct of watching too much HGTV, but I'm STILL on a methodical and systematic campaign to purge my house of the "Unnecessary" . . and now sound is beginning to actually echo in some rooms! Definitely a long ways to go yet, though. I've begun checking with local retailers for new flooring . . the choices are limitless!

ooh, I love HGTV, and when we move I will be able to see it daily! Yay! (We didn't have cable here.) Purging the unnecessary is what I am trying to do before moving. Unbelievable that it is less than a month. I packed the first box today. Photo albums. I should be packing the crystal, but I just don't find the courage.
Unfortunately my mother has to go home tomorrow. She will be back in June. Life is too busy. I don't like it. *LOL*

Almost the end of march. I just calculated that my courtship with my beloved started about three years ago. Three years for a courtship, engagement, marriage, intercontinental move, pregnancy, baby and now a new house. Next year I hope for a very, very boring year. *LOL*
We packed the first boxes yesterday and today. I packed a box with photo albums, one with books, one with kitchen utensils and one with 'ornamental crystal. There is so much to do. I am glad though that we will have a week to move and won't need to do a 'one day moves all'. You start to look at your place in a weird way when you are ready to move. You start to wonder with every thing you use whether you want to move it, need to pack it, etc.
I am going to try and be efficient about this, but my brain seems not to be in efficient mode.

No, that's not what the locals REALLY call them, but it is the term the newscasters use and describes the plague well enough, I suppose hehehe
