As a lurker here on the boards for a few years now, I can say his presence will be missed by me as well. His wonderful rp posts, poems and av offerings were the work of an amazingly creative soul.
My heartfelt prayers and thoughts go out to his family.

Words always fail me at times like these, and I hesitate writing anything, fearing it will be too clumsy. And yet, I can't let that stop me from honoring him, IC and RT as the warm creative giving person he was. He will be sorely missed.

I have posted a short "eulogy" for THory on the boards of his Norse reenactment group's boards, which can be found HERE. Thorgrimm (Or Kveldulf as he was known to his friends there) was a member of the New Varangian Guard of Australia for many long years until doing so appeared to have become too strenuous. From what I gleaned from their pages, THorgrimm was an accomplished archer and craftsman, always true to the historical context in which his group played. I will try and write some fitting clousre for Thorgrimm here on these boards. His fate should not be left dangling, but unlike him I know so much less about Norse than he did! I will need to do some research to do him honor, which will be the hardest part. But it will happen.

I know T enjoyed his reenactment group.. we had talked about that on more than one occasion.. he seemed to almost embrace that existence with a great admiration of the Norse culture..
I don't know much about the Norse, sinny.. but know if there is anything I can do to help you out in honoring a man that deserves such, please let me know and I shall do all I can..

*Hugz Amyra* Thank you - and anybody else - for your offering, I know I will fall back upon it for sure. I have just been going through the last few posts Thory did in the RP section. He had plans for his charry, surprises were at hand. Yet, he never spoke to me about them, only joked that I would be very surprised! I have an idea as to how I will try and give him an honorable rest an conclusion, but it certainly won't be anything near to what he had in mind. That cannot be helped but it saddenes me all the more.

Sinny, I expect Tyrun may know more of Norse things... maybe if you contact him, he could help?

..... I can't believe it.... he was praobly one of the most talented writers I have seen here on the boards ever..... I would expect his work to be written in books...and thought perhaps he was a writer by profession.... all I know about and I am Norse...is their funeral rites...... if you wish me to help with anything just hollar....send me a email....I am home and able .... * sighs*

You will be sorely missed Thor.... your writings were second to none.
My heart goes out to his family and friends left beind.
A man with Passion is second to none A man with Heart is hard to find. A man with both is rarely done A man like Thorgrim was surely one
Be Well & Safe all

I just have returned online and I am completely floored by this. When I think of the wonderful vibrant mind and warm Gentleman I know that the world will miss what I consider was a Prince among men.
Thorgrimm..you'll be missed
May your soul rest when it wants and sing when it needs too
Be well
