~she steps into the quiet hall, she pauses as she looks around. Her eyes spot the doorway from that night long ago...she begins to step quietly towards it. Leaning forward, she looks into the ballroom...her mind begins to imagine the sound of the music that had played. She can see soft images of herself and the gentleman. A smile begins to carress her lips. What would one have to give to repeat that night...it had been a moment of light within her silent, darkened world. Her smile begins to fade as she remembers...he belonged to another....she had only wished she could have spoken that night...to thank him at least. She looks back over her shoulder at the quiet room...turning quickly she moves hastily back across the silent hall. Reaching the door she turns a moment...remembering the elf...pulling the door open wide...she hurries out~

*moving into the hall fro mthe main doors, he grinned, hefting the pack on his shoudlers lightly. His clothing was more elegant than it had been in the last few mnoths here. His time gone had meant some changes in his life, and he had to change with them. Even though he had spent nearly a week on foot through the woodlands, the clothing was as clean and well tailored as it had been upon it's creation. Such were the ways of his kin. Silently, he moved into the hall's welcome embrace. One of a home*

~She took the steps down from the castle two at a time...the dirt puffed up around her feet, covering them with a light dust. She looked down the road leading to the castle and spied a figure apraoching...she darted into the woods. She knew the figure from even a distance...but...he seemed to look different to her. Crouching behind a tree, she watched as he walked by. She became nervous and couldn't bring herself to step out and greet him. ~ ~She bent lower to remain unseen. She could see a smile upon his lips, this was a happy man...at least in her mind. She meant no troubles here so she remained hidden. She looked over the well adorned clothing he now wore. Maybe she had missed something about him when they danced. ~ ~She continued to watch him until he stepped into the castle. She stood and dusted the leaves and dirt from her skirts...stepping out of the woods and onto the path..hurrying herself along until she was out of sight of the castle. Her pace began to slow. She smiled as she walked.....she would look into some of the other places around these realms~
