Once more the Knight sets quill to parchment...
Your Majesty, King Stormblade. I write these words to Your Highness by way of Inquiry. As may have come to Your Attention, I have spoken with and accompanied the Lady Rayven on ride yesterday afternoon, and the Rules of Chivalry demand that I inquire if the Lady is Oathbound to any that you know of.
As new guest to your Realm and House, I have no desire to supplant myself in any Unseemly Behavior, and Humbly Request that if the Lady is a FreeWoman, that I may call upon her, by Your Leave.
I do so in high Respect of yourself, m'Lord, and Your Kingdom.
Your Humble Guest, Sir Thanatos
Once more he attaches his Seal to the folded letter, and bades another messenger to carry it to man's Lord and King.

M'lord,
The good lady Rayven, whom as ye self be a guest in our castle, to the best of me knowledge is nae oathbound to anyone. The lady be a verra good friend of mine, one that I have known for a good number of years, but I suggest that thee simply ask her iffn she be "involved" with anyone. I am nae even sure iffn she wishes to be, or simply wishes to make more friends at her home away from home.

*Before he left the room to go to the Great Hall, another messenger brought him the reply from His Majesty, reading it and nodding at the King's words, he penned a reply.*
Your Majesty, I thank you for your prompt attention to my Inquiry, and will heed your words and advice most carefully. The Lady has told me of the long standing friendship between herself and you, which is what prompted me to ask for your Leave, as I am both a newcomer to your Lands, and a Guest in your House.
I know not what is in the Lady's mind, but will be Friend to her at the very least, and will conduct myself Honorably so no doubt will be borne that the Lady is quite safe in my company.
Thank you again m'Lord for your Counsel.
I remain a Humble Guest,
Sir Thanatos
*With that, he hands his reply to the man waiting at the door, then follows the man out of the Inn, and heads towards the Castle.*
