Milord King,
This is not an easy letter to write, for I feel the receipt of this letter and the contents within may abate thy goodwill ye have shown upon me.
This morning Eldri escaped from my room as the chambermaids were going about their chores. His speedy escape and subsequent chase through out the upper halls of the castle has rendered my decision to have him placed under temporary care with James, the stable boy that tends to the care and feeding of the horses.
Although no physical damage was done, other than the destruction of my flowers and a torn curtain in my room, I feel his behavior this morning did cause some emotional fright to the chambermaid Merry.
Lord Thanatos is to be commended for his swift rescue of Eldri from the halls before more damage could be wrought.
Please accept my apologies for Eldri’s behavior. I shall look upon Merry this evening and make sure she has recovered from her fright.
I remain your most loyal servant and friend,
Lady Rayven O’Duilleain
