*As he made his way thro the village once more, he suddenly remembered a promise he had made to the Lady Rayven....to replace the flowers that her little dog had chewed and destroyed.
He turned on his heel and went to a shop that could handle his request. Soon he found one, and went inside to speak with the Keeper.....
Finding the man at the side of his shop, tending to some of his wares, he approached the man...after speaking with him at length, he gave the man the required coinage, and asked for a piece of parchment.....In his own script, he wrote to the Lady.
Lady Rayven,
A promise made is a promise kept...I hope these flowers will bring back a smile to your face to replace the dismay I saw upon the discovery of the demise of the originals.
I remain....Your Humble Servant,
Thanatos
He bade the merchant to have a boy take them to the Lady at once, and handed a few more coins to give the lad. Thanking the shopkeeper, he turned and walked out and back onto the path he originally was taking.....His mind still upon the Lady, he could not help but smile at the thoughts. The Lady was unlike any that he had met before. niether in his wide travels, nor his homeland...
A small voice in his head began a discourse with him...Could she be?? Is this the One? Better slow down Than ole boy, I know she smiles upon you often, yet that does not mean she has any deeper thoughts regarding you! So have a care!!
He sighed heavily at his own "thought arguments", but the final thought voiced held merit...being cautious in matters of the heart was something he a bit about...so he would heed the words until he knew for sure....
