I promised Sinny a translation for the song and must apologise for my tardiness in making this post but I have only just managed to locate this pic. The vehicle is the famous Holden FJ and the dog sitting in the back is the fabled Australian Kelpie (Working Dog par excellence). For many years they were a common sight on most farms. Although, these days the FJ has been upgraded but the Kelpies are still around. An "Esky" is a piece of equipment without which no true blue Australian would ever be without. It is filled with ice and used to keep the drinks (and other things if there's any spare space )nice and cold. A "Swaggy" is a Swagman. An itinerant worker, in the past they could be seen along the roads, carrying the possesions rolled up in their bedroll or "swag". In this day and age, very few of this old breed of worker still exist. "Thongs' are a common piece of Australian footwear (not a miniscule undergarment) and are often seen on or around our beaches. Merry Christmas All, ;D T.
