((Starting a new thread with this letter in the hopes you are able to acknowledge it. I thought a letter may be quicker and easier to reply to with all that is going on r/t for you at the moment *S*))
Dream wrote each word with care and much thought, as she did not wish to ramble on. Of course she could have written far more, but simply wished to have an acknowledgment she could then send to her beloved Husband. Then, only then would he be able to return.........
My Queen Edfeil,
I thought such best to leave word for ye, as I know duties are oft to keep ye from us of late.
I have heard word from my Robin, all seems well with him, but I fear he has worries only you may aid him with. His travels have found him with a large number of menfolk and their families eager to follow Robin to his home and whilst I am sure he already knows the answer, he does need to know you will accept these people. He is not one to offer false hope to those in need.
I wonder if this timely gift of helpers could aid our Harbour expansions and see the village and surroundings grow even further. The harvests were good and we have timber a plenty to build more homes. Your Kingdom will become even greater and these folk be goodly and eager to follow Robin, all loyal and trustworthy I am sure.
Your confirmation is eagerly awaited M'Lady and I would beg your reply be quick.
Yours in service always
Dream Loxley

((Thank you, Dream! That really helps a lot. I have so little time that this is easier. So sweet of you to do this>))
*The note had been delivered by a clearly distracted lad who was chasing a dog past her. She chuckled while opening, then sobered when reading. She read a second time through and while she was thinking a smile, instinctive and happy curved her mouth. There had been men lost in wars and struggles and many a lass pining for a husband had been considering going into apprentice ship with an aunt a few villages further. Good men, good hands and good workers would be nae just welcome but a very happy asset. She carefully layed aside the list she had been studying, then took out a new piece of velum to reply.*
"Me dear friend,
sometimes prayers are answered in ways we nae expect. This must be one of those instances for here be a solution that I had nae even thought of, and it comes in the form of loyalty from men, strangers to me now, but friends hopefully soon, to one who has so oft deserved it. Aye... aye me friend. Pritthee bid them all welcome and all the crown can do to make it easier for them to adjust to their new home will be done. Do let me know iffen some of the old cottages need to be cleaned out and repaired before they arrive or iffen they prefer to build new ones or to chose encampment in the woods for now. I will be glad to do all that can be done. THank ye, and thank yer husband a thousandfold for yer service to Windstorm.
Be loved and blessed,
Edfeil (R)
