Several of us enjoy watching films and sharing them.................so a new thread simply for that purpose. *S*
Yesterday I actually went to my local cinema alone *LOL* something entirely new to me! I wanted to watch Mamma Mia and was absolutely enthralled by the energy and stamina within it! The story may have been one we so often dream about but the music and incredible passion especially from Meryl Streep was award winning! Highly recommended. Most enjoyable few hours, and well worth the extra courage it took me to go there *LOL*

Oohh... lucky you! I really want to see it too. We will have to get a baby sitter for a few hours. It just looks so fun in the commercials.

Oh I do hope you're enjoying the Little House books! We actually lived between Tracy and Walnut Grove for a year, only a few miles from where the little soddy stood. There are still traces of it, and a very nice museum in town.

Ooh, Letha, now I am jealous. I would love to go there. I fear I don't have much time to read the books at the moment, so I am just going through the tv series according to what they play on tv. I Tivo it and then look later while zooming past the commercials. That does mean I am watching different seasons through eachother though.

This is not a new film by far, but yesterday we watched "The hunt for the red october" with a very young Alec Baldwin and with Sean Connery as a Russian submarine captain. It was quite good!

HEllo all. Last sunday I went to see The Dark Knight and it was great. I reccomend this to any fan of Batmans, or those who are not. It was just a great movie and Heath gave an outstanding performance as the Joker. This is just one man's opinion, take care. *S*

Oooh... I've been wanting to see it. I am a Christian Bale fan. *W* Just because he is such a good actor of course. We are currently doubting between Mamma Mia and Dark Knight. Pretty different.

Well I saw The Dark Knight last evening....... love Christian Bale in anything........ and the late Heath Ledger was incredible as The Joker, he gave an outstanding performance...........but............... *whispers* I didn't leave the cinema with the same feeling I got from Mamma Mia *S*
On the whole, entertaining and well worth seeing........not sure about the 12A certificate though........it was rather a deeply dark and at times intimidating film.
