Wishing you a wonderful time with Beren, I know your days will be filled with chatter, laughter and smiles! It is getting colder here, especially in the mornings, but once again the sun is breaking through and the day fast becoming another beautiful Autumnal day. The colours around me are stunning and I did so enjoy my trip around the Kent countryside on Saturday........lunch in one of my favourite tea houses and some wonderful sights to add to my memories. I am always left in awe at how the simplest things in life can so very often fill one with hope and joy. www.penshurst-online.co.uk/f&d_quaintways.htm A link to the tea house and other lovely places nearby. I think I am finally about ready for the fair this weekend, mixed feelings *S* obviously anxious but also looking forward to spending the time with like minded folk and my dearest cousin who will be helping me out. Her company will indeed be a special bonus. Wishing all well and safe whatever the season or weather.

Hello, Hello... we are having fun indeed. The outings are slightly limited because of Joseph's naptime schedule, but we have fun with eachother. Especially playing scrabble in the evening. We get some very interesting words and learn a lot. A bocal is a part of an instrument and while I do not know what a tranq is, it is one of the officially accepted scrabble words with a q without a u. I kept hanging in there for tranquil for a long time, but I never managed to get the l. today we are going to Congaree Swamp national park in the afternoon. So we hope that the weather stays nice for that. They said it would be cloudy, but the sky looks bright and blue here at the moment. The weather is finally getting it's first nip of cold, and I'm not really used to it yet. Hope to hear from you soon, and good luck at the fair Dream!!!

Your world is soooo charming, Dream . . and yours so bursting with life, Eva! Mine is terrifically windy today, with talk of the "S" word already! *laughs* I've put many of the flowerbeds to their wintry rest, still holding out on a few since I am torn between liking the tidiness of the smooth clean blackness, and the spots of color that still cling to the droopy greens on those few surviving plants. A good day to curl up with one of my terribly neglected books after a jam-packed busy week! (After torturing myself with a Viking football game . . maybe! lol)

Brrrr.... the S word! *shivers*. I just had to wear something over my dress yesterday. I find it frightfully cold now even though it still warms well into the sixties during the day. Dream, I want to hear ALLLLL about the crafts fair. There is a big crafts fair here, but usually it has become too commercial with things that aren't really homemade, so it's not as fun. My husband has one more week before his deadline for his papers, so one more week of insane business before we go back to normal business. My visit with Beren (or better hers with me) was so lovely. I think we never went for nine months without seeing eachother before! It was definitely too short a visit and because of the insane business we did not get to see as much as we wanted, though we did the most important thing which is enjoying the fact that we were together.
Yesterday I finally found the time for some play in the room and hope to be playing two evenings a week! And oh did I have a great time. I had forgotten how much I missed it. It was simple, improvised fun and great to see so many names in the room. And great to have such fun play.

Unbelievable that october is almost gone. It's been a busy and fun month, though the colder weather gets my resistance up. I want back to shortsleeved dresses and sandals. It's been only a few weeks ago! Now we are talking about a leafblower, closing up the pool for winter and looking for a wintercoat!

Finally I find a moment to post more..........this week seems to have been as busy as the last few here, although I don't seem to have achieved much *L* In truth I have been recovering from the Fair weekend which was incredible. I covered all my costs and made enough to put towards more craft supplies. I wasn't expecting to make a huge profit as the stall was rather a lot of money to begin with. I booked it way back in January after my surgery so it was more a therapy road I was taking, giving me a reason to be and such. The results were just super, I had an amazing time and took on board the comments and conversations I had with some very interesting people. I have been invited to exhibit at several other fairs next year and even had a commission! *L* All in all the whole experience was worth every penny, even though it was rather an exhausting time. A superb weekend that I have gained so much from in so many ways *VBS* The weather here has been colder, actually below freezing, and yes some folks nearby even had a dusting of snow! It is still chilly today but wet and rather miserable. I am looking forward to Saturday, spending some time in the room and hopefully recreating some of that magic with friends! Wishing you all a wonderful new day.
