I Hate to be the bearer of sad news but I had just got a message from Robert's player (from Camlot Reborn) and was asked to pass it along ..
...not sure if this person rp'ed here or if any of you knew him but just in case, I figured I'd let you all know so that others who knew him would know too ..

Thankyou so much for letting us know Valk..............yes he did play here, more so as a guest I believe, many moons ago and I do remember mostly watching as I was a very shy newbie. His character was definitely one to be in awe of but I did not know him at all ooc.
My thoughts are with his family and close friends......of course there is never a good time to lose those we love but this time of year perhaps it hurts a little more.
Rest in peace great roleplayer Tarthos........we will always remember you with honour.

Felt it was important I pass on this information. When the time is set I am sure that Robert will be posting more. Hopefully by the time you read this, there will be a link on the Creativity Chat message board for any who wish to make memorial donation in Tarthos's name to the American Cancer Society. There are memorial posts on Camelot Reborn, Caernarfon and Creativity Chat's message boards. If any wish to add their words and thoughts, they will be passed on to Tarthos's player's family. Tarthos the character was Caera's cousin, who was very protective of her. It was easy to play family because the player was dear friend and mentor. Windstorm was one of the places he escorted Caera to visit. Of course he visited Windstorm long before he escorted her. He spoke of Windstorm with fondness and of the friendship he had with Agustin and his player. In closing, my words are simple, we will miss him deeply and my prayers are with his family. Thankyou Caera........seeing the avatar and the picture you have created within my mind brings back more memories........I do recall him accompanying you now on several occasions to Windstorm, you must miss him so. His roleplaying was simply great.........one of those legends we often speak of, and I am also remembering our dear Joseph fondly as many are at this sad time.
When friends leave us in our real lives it is just unbearable I know..........but to lose a friend, or even just an aquaintance one knows online, through this incredible world of technology, it hurts as much, even more as there is so much distance between us all. Waffling as I do........I am sure you all understand my meaning. I send my sincere sympathies to all who are grieving now.
I shall do my very best to attend any memorial service for Tarthos but doubt the time zones will be kindly to me.

Losing someone is almost like losing a part of your history. And yet, the memories remain. I think the Orthodox have the most wonderful saying: "May his memory be eternal. Eternal be his memory."
I will call Agustin today. I just had his phonenumber again since a few days. *sighs* Seems to me like the last time we called was when he told me about Senki's death.

How terribly sad to see yet another legend fall. I cannot remember even hearing his name before, but my heart cradles each of you in your loss.

Caera, Has there been a Confirmed Date or Not for the memorial service? .. I've heard around the 9th but I've also heard that it is still up in the air .. could you confirm this or not yet? (only reason I'm asking is cuz I've been asked this question by others)

Val, I do believe the 9th has been settled on. Now the time of day is the issue. I had suggested 12 noon EST on the CC board to cover all the times zones we need to work with across the world. I haven't heard yet though on final the decision. Do count on it being on the 9th.
To those of you who have spoken kind words, it is appreciated. Our friend is missed.
