Hard to believe, but my Diary says it is November 1st........I should have realised because we have had to endure fireworks going off for at least the last week. I don't mind them so much but my poor cats get so upset, it hardly seems fair to all the animals, and this weekend will be the real Guy Fawkes Celebrations........ I just hope everyone will stay safe.....the fireworks are getting bigger and louder each year. Gosh I sound like a grump! Repsol, I have a wormery, and they seem to each what I put into my compost bin, only cut up smaller!! It works, but very much slower than the bin........ but they have definitely multiplied like it said on the packet ;D Oh we won £10 on the Lottery this week better than a slap on the belly with a wet fish hmmmm Eiluna I am sure you will be very inspired now your office is all nicely redecorated.....and I am so glad you are safe, hope to catch up as time allows. Sounds like baby Joseph is ruling the roost, but so nice to hear of your days Eva. All the very best to you all. Letha....... I miss our little chats, but life seems to have got rather busy again here, I am trying to get as much done as I can before the op, and gosh, there is just so much to do for Christmas! I shall wish you all a wonderful November, be it Autumn or Spring......may your days be filled with happy moments and beautiful smiles.

Oh Dreamy, the fireworks would be fine if they sold them one week before and one week after its the fools who get their hands on them that I object to surely they have better things to spend their dole money on...now I am grumpy ;D Kyle, no problems dude catch up when ya can buddy, just stay safe, and hope work is going well.. Well as from mid day today I cease to be a lepper, I am attempting to stop smoking, I have smoked about 20 to 40 cigs a day for longer than I remember, I know how Robin Hood felt now not being too popular with the government, and my truck has just been chosen to pull a float in the Nottingham parade (mm wonder if the sherriff will be there), What worries me though is all these people stopping smoking where the government will get the taxes from??? Eddie, I do hope your lil one will let his mom and pops get some rest, our new addition is just the same, fortunately she is with her mother this time..LOL, you guys stay safe and well..Oh by the way if you want me to come and pick up Eiluna and yourself, I can inflate the dinghy and fetch you, though I have only been on the local duck pond with it....it didn't float very well but that may be down to the rocks the mother in law tied under it Oh go on, jokes for you guys..... Q:What do you call a guy with six sheep in Wales? A: A pimp Q: What do you call four sheep tied to a lamp post? A: A brothel Q: How many women does it take to change a light bulb? A: 42...1 to hold the bulb and 41 to turn the ceiling The man decides his dog Fido was experienced enought to go to the shops as he had done on two occasions before, so he placed £10 in a purse and fastened it to his dogs collar with a list for the man at the shop, four hours went passed and he feared the worse for the dog, he put on his coat and walked to the shop, on his way he passed a side street and there was Fido, standing with a Lady dog both panting heavily, he calls to Fido and showed his dissapointment in his loyal freind, he opened the purse and the money was gone, he said to Fido you bad dog, you have never done this before, Fido answered you have never given me a tenner before Stay Safe and be well, love from the heart......Rep

all..........and I think I feel less grumpy today ;D Repsol how wonderful, to actually make the decision to stop smoking is a great achievement and I do wish you every sucess! Don't hesitate to bend my ear if you need encouragement.......I stopped with both my pregnancies and then totally when we moved house 21 years ago.......to pay the mortgage *LOL* good enough reasons and definitely one of my best choices. Good luck! Ohhh and think how luverley you will smell!! You must tell us more of this parade? Sounds wonderful. I have a small rubber dinghy too....perhaps we might rope them together to bring our overseas friends here!! Laughing at the rocks ! Many thanks for the laughs Repsol and stay safe Kevin.......miss you too. Very warm wishes to all as another week comes to an end.......we plan to get out and about in the countryside this weekend, pictures may follow! Autumn is in her glory at the moment and Wakehurst Place is just down the road..........sounds like a plan! to all.

They're talking white stuff tomorrow . . *shivers* and not just a thick coating of frost as it's been in the mornings! If you'd like some to get more into the Christmas spirit, Dream, I'll see about sending some your way? (Miss those daily banterings more than you can guess) Just had to share a pic of my Hobbity daughter . . *laughs* It was fun creating the costume, even if LOTR rage has rather ebbed a bit . . .

Letha.......thanks but I will pass on the snow just yet! It is absolutely glorious here at the moment, getting colder now and more like Winter should be, but still beautiful! Wakehurst Place was just amazing, we got there as the gates opened and by the time we left the car park was full! Good to see so many folks had the same idea as us. Splendid day out if you are ever down this way www.nationaltrust.org.uk/main/w-vh/w-visits/w-findaplace/w-wakehurstplace/www.kew.org/visitor/visitwp.htmlThat picture of your Daughter is delightful! Well done both of you, what fun you must have had. Warm wishes once more to all.......stay well and safe

Well, the weather here in Yuma has finally cooled, we're rarely getting above 80-90F anymore, and that means the Winter Visitors are descending on us in their tens of thousands. Fortunately on a happier note, the winter crops are now in the fields here....hundreds of fields sprouting in seedlings. Mechanical sprinklers line the fields, and if you listen closely on a quiet day the water bounces off the reflectors and make a sound like windchimes. It's kind of neat, listening to a whole field of ultra-soft chimes and the rushig of a few hundred sprinklers Edie: Love you BIG, and hope to see ya soon Kyle:Hope all's going well for you hun *hugs*

That does sound delightful Sofia........I adore wind chimes and have them all around my home and garden, I can imagine the sound you are describing......how lovely, and to still be so warm too! Gosh it is cold here at 5C this morning, and set to be around 8C during the daytime by Thursday.......quite a shock to the system I think. I chose today to begin to defrost our freezers *L*.......my fingers are still like ice *L* Funny isn't it, how one gathers little bits and bobs in the bottom of freezer drawers and chest freezers.....a mystery, much like those missing socks in the washing ;D Still a goodly job jone when they are finished, and then I can fill them again which is the bestest part! Autumn time for me has always been like Spring.......cleaning and preparing.......allows one to enjoy the given days so much more when all about is tidy and manageable. Grand to see Eva managed a little while in the room........let us hope her little one will allow her to visit more often. Keep warm all!

Ooouu Sofia . . your description is so wonderfully vivid. It's hard to imagine growing crops in the winter. I've tried many times to set out windchimes, but the endless prairie winds always eventually tangle them to snarls, or rip them right off their moorings if we're not home to rescue them. The wind even buffeted my twig arch over, so we had to scrap it, it was too damaged to try and salvage.
Aughh . . Dream, you make me so jealous of your nice clean house! *laughs* not like I couldn't make the time for mine as well . . I'll have to try before Thanksgiving company arrives, although the best decorations for a holiday are warm bodies and warmer hearts . .

A nice, clean house? What is that??? *chuckles* Most days I am happy if Bill, the baby and I manage to get nice and clean. The good news is that both yesterday and today I have actually had some time on my hands, allowing me to play in the room for the first time. (after doing emergency laundry and cleaning the bathroom sink) Of course I still need to bolt out when Joseph cries, but our little prince finally seems to be content to doze in his booster seat for a bit during the day or to play on the 'hungry animals alphabet quilt'. The Dream quilt is draped over the rocking chair to display its beauty. Yay! Hurray for playing again. I have SOOOO missed you and look forward to slowly easing in. BTW... here you can see the little prince in action today: www.youtube.com/watch?v=uil-zl5aagg

Well then, Stina . . *taps foot expectantly* *hint hint* You DO have a camera, don't you? *grins* Doesn't take much time at all to show us . .
I've heard the Aleuts/Inuits/Eskimos (take your pick!) have many names for snow . . today's white crust on our roads and bare spots could be termed "Snebbles" . . tiny little snow pebbles . . but the sun is chasing them away quite handily . . mercifully! No fun to drive on . .
*dazed* Don't you just love You Tube! Wow . . what a great little celebrity we have . . wonderful way to share him with everyone, Eva! *smiles and just wants to snatch him up for a good snuzzling*
